We ordered a combination of chicken cheesesteaks, one steak and cheese, a large order of fries, and 2 orders of mozzarella sticks (receipt included in pictures). If you pay in cash, you get a 5% discount as you can see on the receipt. For the most part, everything was great; my family was VERY happy with the cheesesteaks and fries. The bread for the cheesesteaks was typical cheesesteak bread – size was 10 inches, and they cut the cheesesteaks in half (note: for lunch on weekdays, you can get a lunch special of a 7-inch cheesesteak with fries) But where we were disappointed…two things: 1) hollow mozzarella sticks, and 2) ordered extra mushrooms and extra onions, as well as added banana peppers, but barely got any of that for the one cheesesteak for which it was ordered. You can see the pictures; we didn’t remove anything from the cheesesteak before taking the pictures. How is it that we were charged $1 for each extra item requested for the cheesesteak, but it doesn’t look like anything extra was on it? Definitely won’t ask for anything additional if we order cheesesteaks in the future since it appears nothing actually gets added. As for the mozzarella sticks, all we did was take one small bite into each one, and some of them were hollow!! That was greatly disappointing. According to the receipt, an order of mozzarella sticks basically costs $8. You get five mozzarella sticks. Three were hollow, so we got two mozzarella sticks and three hollow breading rectangles…GREATLY disappointing…sigh…I don’t think we’ll be ordering mozzarella sticks from here anymore, lol. To provide some details about the food, the fries are soft and only very lightly seasoned (I think it’s just a tiny bit of salt and pepper), and they don’t have pickles for cheesesteaks (just in case you’re one who likes pickles on yours; have some at home and add them yourself like I did). You do get a decent portion of chicken and steak on the cheesesteaks. I would have liked a little more lettuce (they don’t shred the iceberg lettuce – looks like they loosely cut it, and just put a little on the cheesesteaks; some people may like it this way, like my husband, but I like more lettuce, lol). Again, aside from the 2 disappointments mentioned above, everything tasted great and we plan to order from here again.

Nice dinner!
On our way to Shenandoah National Park, we stopped by this Italian eatery. The ambience and interior decorations were excellent. They had a pretty good number of seating arrangements. The serving time was not too long. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered their Chicken Pizza and Fried Seafood Platter. Although we can’t highlight about the authenticity of the food but the dishes we ordered were delicious and the portions were more than enough for two persons. We would definitely love to visit this place again to taste their other dishes.

I’m so glad we finally decided to try out this small Italian restaurant. We ordered a couple of lunch specials: a fully loaded chicken cheese steak with onion rings and an Alfredo spaghetti. Prices were very reasonable, actually better than nearby fast food joints. Service was great as well. Highly recommended.

Food poisoning. Bought food the night before the snow storm and ended up getting sick from the chicken…. Horribly sick!! I also don’t like the fact that when you go to pick up your dinner if you leave a tip on the receipt it goes to the restaurant and not the ladies who went and got my food. That’s not fair to them. Finally… It really is subpar Italian food. If you want fantastic Italian food try Carmelo’s in Charlottesville. They’ve been a staple of Charlottesville for over 20 years. Not going back to this restaurant. Once you get food poisoning from a restaurant your whole body wants nothing to do with it.

We stopped in at the close of the day on a Sunday. The food was delicious, served as ordered and was prompt. The homemade dinner rolls were warm and fresh. We enjoyed the atmosphere as it was small and quaint. The portions are large as we both had leftovers. They do have a “split” meal option for $2 which we will do next time. Give it a try.

Food is great, particularly the Pizza Roll, but they have multiple ceiling fans running wide open so there’s a noticable breeze blowing right down on the tables. Asked our waitress to please turn them down, but she just laughed and said sorry. So, if u don’t mind your food getting cold quickly, give them a try.

This is a very nice place to eat. The food is really good and the service was friendly and fast. The wait time was minimal… the server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. My wife loved the lemon cake and the Tiramisu was great (I was told they make it from scratch on site and fresh daily). We ate until we nearly popped! Stop by and eat a meal there, I think you will enjoy it very much.

The food was really great! It’s a nice restaurant; not too loud or dark, comfy seating, non-wobbly tables. The menu has something for everyone at good prices. The staff were nice and they even boxed up the rest of our apps and kept them in the kitchen for us when our food came so we would have more room.
