Hands down a new favorite spot! We tried the Black Tonkotsu Ramen, boneless honey lemon pepper wings, eggrolls, and kimchi. Loved every bite! The seasoning and flavor were perfect. I’ve tried other ramen shops, including Michelin star Okiburo(not impressed), and this is by far the best I’ve had. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I weirded her out by adding blueberry popping Boba to my Taro drink but I enjoyed it lol. Will be back with friends!!

Me & my little family SINCERELY enjoyed this restaurant. We are vacation at the lodge and ventured off property to try something different & were so glad we did. First impression was great! We were immediately greeted and the place just felt welcoming. We are anime fans, so the art work and atmosphere had us hooked. Our server Celina was so sweet and fun to talk to! She was very attentive and just genuinely nice. We ordered spicy red tonkatsu ramen & wings & when I tell you the food is ! It was sooo good! My husband is a bit of a ramen connoisseur and for him to rave about it so much was pretty awesome. I unfortunately can’t eat ramen due to allergies, but the wings were worth it!! I also love a good refresher and was so glad I didn’t settle for just a Coke Zero . I was really just impressed with the entirety of our visit. I’m thinking we may make a stop back on our way home! Thank you guys for creating a great memory for us!

Celina served me Genki chicken broth ramen, edamame and brown sugar bubble tea. They were very delicious. I was there for a business trip two weeks ago. I also like the atmosphere of this ramen restaurant. The owner of this restaurant was a very friendly woman, she put all Japanese anime posters on the wall of her restaurant, so that the restaurant looked exactly like a Japanese gallery. I like her idea.
In general, a very nice Japanese ramen restaurant, worth of your dollars, and a good choice for your dinner.

Genki Ramen did not disappoint! The hibachi chicken fried rice is delicious, flavorful, and very filling. One plate was more than enough for my husband and me to share. I especially loved the zucchini mixed in. It added great flavor and texture. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked. The customer service is great! We have gone quite a few times. It’s the same every time.

Stopped by for a late lunch today. They have Korean Kimchi Ramen. I thought, oh cool I have kimchi at home so this might be good. Yeahhh it was good. Butttttttt ☝️!! It happened to be authentic spicy kimchi. I knew as soon as it touched my lips that I was WELL out of my comfort zone, but in a good way. That was also a mistake, letting it touch my lips. Never let the spicy touch your lips! Fast forward two and a half glasses of ice water later, and you know, I’m making a valiant effort. It actually tastes pretty good when you acclimate to the spice level. I wouldn’t call it “Indian” mega heat level, but it’s pretty spicy. Thick, large chunks of Kimchi, soft boiled eggs, corn, etc… really good, well made ramen.
The wife opted for the vegetarian ramen which came with freshly cooked tofu. Her only criticism was that the broth was kind of flavorless. Your mileage may vary. Egg rolls as an appetizer. Funky anime posters and art on the walls. All-in-all, we enjoyed the visit today. It’s difficult to find places with vegetarian options, much less vegan, down here in the woods of Lagrange. So when we find a place that does offer vegetarian, we make a point to try it at least once. I don’t think restaurants in the area realize that there is a sizable chunk of the population that eats vegetarian or vegan.
Anywho. They also have a selection of teas and Sake’ to choose from. I would have went for Sake’ had it not been like.. midday and had my mouth not been on fire

My husband and I went here for a lunch date. The food was delicious and the drinks were so good. The woman who made our drinks was super sweet and our waitress was very polite and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
