As a firm believer in giving every restaurant at least one fair shot, I recently found myself at Anita’s, eager to see what this restaurant has in store for us. The experience began on a positive note—zero wait time, and we were promptly seated, a rare treat during peak hours.

We kicked things off with the traditional chips and salsa, and I must say, they were the highlight of the evening. Crisp, warm chips paired with a vibrant, well-balanced salsa that had just the right touch of heat and freshness—it was so good, I had to pace myself for fear of spoiling my appetite before the entrées even arrived.

For my main, I opted for the flautas meal, while my wife went with the chimichanga plate. Oddly enough, both dishes arrived looking nearly identical, which was a bit of a letdown. The flautas were decent, but didn’t quite sing. They lacked the distinct flavor layers I typically look for. The chimichanga shared a similar fate—serviceable, but not memorable.

To the restaurant’s credit, our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. While the food didn’t quite meet expectations, that chips-and-salsa opener may just lure me back for a second visit—though it might not be anytime soon.

Final verdict: Stellar service and a strong start with the appetizers, but the main dishes left something to be desired. Anita’s has potential, but the kitchen needs to fine-tune its flavors and presentation to match the warmth of the hospitality.

We tried this place out with our family. The food was good at a reasonable price. They had large portions that fill you up. The service was just okay. The waitress did not fill up my tea or offer more chips or dip. This place is definitely worth checking out though just for the food.

First time ever going here today, figured we would give it a try. We are very PICKY when it comes to our Mexican food places we like. The salsa was VERY good and served hot (temp) wise which we like. We also got the large queso and it comes with Taco meat on the side to add into it at no extra cost which is nice. My husband got the carne asada and I got the fajitas (lunch portions) we left stuffed and still had some to take home after.
The customer service was phenomenal. We never had to wait around and ask for anything multiple people asked is there anything they can get us and or help us with and that usually doesn’t happen at most restaurants. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly Surprised! I’ve had some bad experiences lately so I looked for a new place to get good TexMex Food and wound up here. Salsa is fresh, made in house and served warm. Yes! My dinner plate was well portioned and a good value. Lots of variety on the menu. Service was kind and friendly. I will come back and I would say it is worth you trying out if you have never been here. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and it looks and feels like the kind of place a family might own and operate.

Stopped here for dinner traveling through. Food was not good especially for prices they are changing. Chips were cooked in old rancid oil. Main meal was loaded with cheep cheese and tiniest piece of meat I have ever received on my plate. Waitress kept talking to us in Spanish even though we told her we do not speak it. Will not be coming back here.

Service was mediocre. Food was fresh but not the best. There was some music playing but it was hard to hear it. I don’t know if I’d go back.

This location is quiet. The wait staff is very attentive and hospitable. The food is AMAZING! My dish was served with fresh homemade tortillas. I was blown away by the flavors in this dish. I’m sorry for the messy plate pic. I started eating and it all was so good. My margarita was on point as well. The best part is the price. Overall I will go back again and again.

Went with disabled friend. W we’re alone for lunch and service was spotty. The server seemed very unhappy to both of us and upon leaving argued with my disabled friend about a discount he’s gotten for years from the manager.
Food was good with large portions. I got the special posted outside but never saw the ticket to see if it had a discount. I assume not.
