Paola at Don Nacho was incredible! She was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. The drinks were on point, and her smile and personality made the whole night better. Definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve come across!

There are insects in the kitchen. Small bugs are concerning because they could be everywhere!! I called and they wanted me to hold onto the food and bring it back for a remake… no refund offered.. and why would I hold on to bug filled food ? Where would I store it?! Not in my fridge. Furthermore, the portions are fairly small when you order to-go and a 10% extra charge. The fajitas and sides themselves were very skimpy… Also, we were charged $2.00 for a small ramekin of pico… shameful. Plus, their fajitas doing come with sour cream anymore so there’s that. Hate paying $46 for 2 plates of small sizes and bugs…

When we got in we were welcomed and got seated right away. After having our order taken we were surprised with large serving of food and it tasted as good as it look! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Hispanic meal.

This is my second time here but first time dinning in. I’ve been having this craving for Mexican food (no I’m not pregnant) but I’ve visited 2 other restaurants this week and it was okay… but THIS place was the one to satisfy me. The food is seasoned perfectly. I am happy! The service is great too. I have not had their drinks yet…but I plan on coming back. The photo is the Grande Quesadilla and a side of queso dip.

We go here frequently for the authentic Mexican food. Try the Mole for example. Everything we tried was very good and the service is very personal. If you want to come with a group (or a few small kids), they have a private room as well. It is a bit hidden behind the gas station but worth the search.

Placed a to go order and when I opened my fajita quesadilla it was sitting in almost 2 inches of oil grease. Ehhhh!!! The actual shell tore apart when I opened it! There was little to no cheese on the inside. Like how is it even a quesadilla. Let alone a 19$ quesadilla! There was no parchment paper or foil for any of my order items!! Tacos both hard and soft shell were wet from its oil! I also ordered taquitos and all the side items like lettuce tomatoes sour cream and guacamole were put together in one box which caused the main item to also be soggy! On to go orders the sides should be in it’s on containers! Only in dinning should it be served together on one plate! This is not my first time with major issues that caused me to not enjoy my food. Since this has happened more than twice I decided to actually let you instead of just not coming back. Not much in Palmetto and the location outside looks nice but they def need to step it up!

Came in on a Sunday Afternoon, very quiet, not busy at all. I was hungry.. already knew what I wanted. Lol
Got the Molcajete w no cheese, guacamole salad, no tortillas, and one hard shell ground beef taco ( I try not to eat too many carbs)
Everything was delicious. Because of the bowl that it comes it, it stays hot!!! I could not even eat it all!! The Nopales were tender as well as all of the meat! The shrimp were cooked to perfection! Not overly seasoned not tough!! I can’t wait to eat my leftovers for lunch tomorrow..so much food for 20 bucks!!
The server was very friendly asked me if I needed anything several times! I believe the owner or manager came over and asked me if I was ok.
I love the decor of the restaurant as well. They also have a full bar and a patio !
It’s a nice spot that’s off in the cut , definitely a hidden jem in Palmetto!

We stumbled on Don Nacho sometime in late 2024 & have visited several times since. The food is fresh and authentic each time. Seating is always prompt and the wait staff brings over fresh chips & salsa within 2-3 minutes of being seated. And did I mention how affordable both the food and drinks are. I always leave full, sometimes tipsy (if I’ve had a drink), & more than satisfied. Definitely my go to spot for an inexpensive date night!
