Quick, easy, clean, and tasty, perfect for lunch, especially for under $12. You can also grab a unique chicken salad to go from the prepackaged cooler they stock daily. They offer about 15 different kinds, and my favorite is the onion-packed Dixie Chick!

This is my second location to try since Chicken Salad Chick got started. I love their consistency with the restaurant theme, the food, and the southern hospitality feel.
My coworker and I did a pickup order for lunch. I got the Fruity Fran chicken salad BLT on toast with a side of the broccoli salad. I loved the whole meal except the bread and the lettuce. The bread was cold and toasted too much. I should have gotten a croissant instead. I didn’t take any stars off for the bread because they have other options, so it’s not a huge deal. It’s just my preference. I am also not a leaf lettuce fan. I prefer shredded lettuce. Maybe a suggestion to consider? The broccoli salad is delicious! I couldn’t get enough of it. For take home, I got a Classic Carol to go tub with a bag of mini croissants. I needed something for the weekend as the weather was going to be unfavorable and I knew I wouldn’t want to get out. The Classic Carol is very good. The mini croissants were perfect. They have delicious sweet tea. I mixed mine with lemonade and wished I would have gotten a larger serving by time I got back to the office. It’s so good!
They have plenty of parking in front of the store. The service is exceptionally friendly. The restaurant is decorated super cute and is very clean.
I will definitely return. I am super excited they now have a store near my work and home.

I have been going here for a while, but there was a rubbery white ball in my food today (it might just be a natural part of the chicken, but this has never happened before). Unfortunately this made the meal unappetizing for me. I’m not sure how long they keep frozen chicken on the counter and if that played a part in the rubbery chunk I found in the to-go container, but long story short I just wanted to give a heads up about the chicken just in case anyone else is picky like me about things like this!

Great place for a quick bite. Food comes out quick. I ordered the combo plate with chicken tortilla soup and a chicken croissant sandwich. They have different ways to make the chicken salad, I ordered the jalapeno style for spiciness, but couldn’t tell it had any as it was very mild. The croissant was toasty and flaky! They have different soups daily. Great overall!

I got the chick with the kickin’ kay Lynne The chicken salad was delicious, but the pickle that came with it was not crispy. It is actually kind of hard to bite through and the bacon in the broccoli salad was way too hard and their tea was pretty weak. I’d come back for the chicken salad, but nothing else and the little complementary cookie that comes with it just taste like powdered sugar.

I’m leaving this review to document my experience and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else.
I became suddenly ill after eating a broccoli salad from this location (9406 Gaylord Dr Suite 100, Houston, TX 77024). I experienced sudden vomiting within 6–8 hours, with no other symptoms, and recovered by the next morning. No one else who ate elsewhere became sick. Based on the timing and symptoms, this appeared consistent with a food-related issue, not a contagious illness.
I contacted the restaurant to report what happened, not to place blame, but so they could be aware and review food handling practices. Unfortunately, after speaking with both the manager and the general manager, there was no sympathy or concern expressed, I then asked for the number to corporate and I was simply told to “go on the website,” only to later find out the location is a franchise.
I was disappointed by the lack of care, especially given that this involved a customer becoming ill. I expected at minimum acknowledgment, concern, or reassurance that food safety would be reviewed.
I’m sharing this so other customers can be informed and so management may consider improving how concerns like this are handled in the future.

Supremely irritating. Was curious about prices so tried the “menu” options under google maps and their website – no prices listed. Online one must go all the way to the final checkout to find out the cost of what you’re ordering. Website is also extremely slow. I decided it would be easier to just go by. Walked in the door and handily there is a rack with menus – NO PRICES LISTED. Walked up to the shelves of pre-packaged chicken salad, pimento cheeses, and other salads – NO PRICES. Looked up at the 12 foot menu above the cashiers, dozens of menu items – NO PRICES SHOWN. Really – a customer literally has to stand in front of the cashier and ask how much each item is if they want to know how much they will be spending. How arrogant. I bought the chicken salad and pimento cheese. They were ok, but not cheap.
Responding to their response. I was at the Gaylord location. There were no prices on the menus or the menu board or the items on the cold shelf. I asked the person at the register how we were supposed to know the price and she said: “I have to ring it up and tell you”.

I eat at this restaurant at least once a week ever since their first day of opening. I personally don’t like all of their selections, but that’s just me. But what I do choose, I love! It’s always clean and friendly. I am so grateful that they came to our location.

After watching the Memorial location being built, I’ve finally gotten in to see what all the fuss was about!
This place is going onto my regular rotation! (It helps that I’m already a chicken salad fan) This is a local small business – always try to support them!
Today I ordered The Chick with two scoops of chicken salad – Olivia’s Old South (similar to a deviled egg in flavor) and Lauryn’s Lemon Basil (Basil forward)
Both were large scoops served on a leaf lettuce along with crackers, a pickle, and a small frosted cookie – all for $9.69! Excellent deal in my book!
I also purchased a container of Pimento Cheese for a future meal – tasted it and it’s exactly what I hoped! Not too mayonnaise-y and good flavor!
I will definitely be back to try other offerings, but they’ve hit it out of the park today!

I’m so happy I found this restaurant. Delicious chicken salad. Stacy, I returned and Dixie Chick was delicious (perfect onions). I plan on trying other items on my next visit.
