The food at this KBBQ spot was actually really tasty. But honestly, the restaurant itself didn’t feel clean, and there was no real atmosphere or vibe inside. A great meal deserves a great environment too. If they improve the ambiance and cleanliness, it would be a much better overall experience.

I lived in Korea 2 years ago and have loved k food ever since. My fiancé and I went hurt and I was disappointed it wasn’t fully authentic although you can’t expect that. Made a reservation for 7:30 for our table 15 minutes early which was nice! The meat was a big portion for the two of us. Wish they had aprons because the grill can have oil come back at you. Fried our kimchi on and it was delicious. Free refills on lettuce and sides which was great. At the end we felt forgotten when all our dishes were empty and moved to the side and multiple workers walked past us. Would be fun in a group and the food was good, could use more seasoning though.

Busan Korean BBQ is still our go-to Korean restaurant in Halifax. The food is consistently delicious, flavorful, and authentic, and the service has always been warm and welcoming.
We do miss the BBQ grill experience from their old location — it definitely added something special — but the quality of the dishes keeps us coming back every time. Always a solid choice for Korean food in the city.

Beef soup, beef so hard to chew, hard you cannot imagine. And also chicken nuggets, not freshly fried but frozen chicken nuggets from supermarket , so gross .Ordered it and wasted it, servant attitude bad, always a poker face, never recommend anyone this place! Super bad experience EVER

Highly recommended! Best soup I’ve had in a while. Their Gomtang was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it: had a clean taste. Everthing we ordered were good. We’ll definitely come there to eat again when we’re back in Halifax.
