This is a classic old-school breakfast spot with a nostalgic feel. The food is good, well prepared, and satisfying, exactly what you expect from a traditional breakfast place. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service was solid. The only downside is the price, it’s a bit on the expensive side, not outrageous, but slightly higher than expected. Overall, it’s a good place for breakfast if you don’t mind paying a little extra for quality.

This place is awesome…better than the one in North Bend (no offense) as far as tasty food. My son and his family loved it too. I ordered cinnamon roll pancake with eggs and bacon. Delicious! We ate most of it when I suddenly remembered to take pictures.Tsk,tsk…

The Cozy Kitchen’s doin’ better now than I’ve ever seen it—and I’ve been goin’ there since around 2010.
It’s got a new owner, and he’s been workin’ hard to get things straightened out for nearly a year now. He’s doin’ a fine job. The food’s turned top-notch—real good eatin’. He’s strict, and he does a lot of the cookin’ himself, so the other cooks had to step up their game to keep pace. And they have.
The service is just as solid. There’s three good waitresses and Travis, and they all do a mighty fine job keepin’ folks fed, the front clean, and everything stocked up just right. It’s better than it’s ever been—and still gettin’ better every day.
The owner’s still pourin’ money into it, bit by bit, savin’ up when he needs to so he can keep makin’ improvements. He swapped out that old electric grill for a new gas one, and it’s made a world of difference. Cookin’s smoother now, and the whole setup feels fresh.
So yeah—if you ain’t been in lately, come on by and take a look. He’s done a heap of good work, and it shows.

Old diner experience, happy staff, good food, & nice portions. I had the CFS over home fries with eggs & gravy, husband had bacon & eggs, we were not disappointed. Server was awesome, she handled a customer with a mental illness as she would anyone else with a little extra care, that was great to see!

The last 2 times my mom and I went in to eat, our burger was old and dry, our chicken fried steak breakfast was awful, the hash browns, that we asked for to be crispy, we’re barely cooked, as well as the toast and scrambled eggs, the chicken fried steak tasted like it was either turned or freezer burnt. There werent any people dining there, so them being too busy is not the reason for the under cooked food. We live in town and tip well, So disappointing..we won’t be going back.

Our first stop here for a morning break to share a piece of Marionberry Pie and 2 ice teas. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Reasonable prices. Great pie! We’ll be back the next time we ride thru town.

Weel I have been eating here for about 10 years. I just now realized I have been over charged for my food. The last half a dozen times I ordered a vegetable omelet with no cheese and no black olives. Cottage cheese and toast. I have been charged over 18 dollars for this meal. With less food than the original meal on the menu. That sucks people. I used to like this place but now that I figured out I was being robbed I will never go again.
