The food is SO GOOD. The grilled biscuits are out of this world, I get one with every meal no matter what I order! I got a BLT with a fried egg today for the first time and it’s incredible. My usual is a garden omelette add bacon which is also amazing. Everything ALWAYS comes out hot and fresh.
All of the pastries and coffee I have tried were also delicious, and as a bonus, during Mardi Gras season, you can go here to get a Dong Phuong (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) king cake!
10/10 recommend to anyone with taste buds. My family and I have been coming here for years and we will keep coming back regularly for as long as we can!
Being first time here, the young ladies in the front were very patient and helpful. Explained what comes with what and gives you there top favorites. Oh and some random guy said while he was heading out. Just close your eyes and put your finger anywhere on the menu bc everything is good here.
So, I did just that. The young ladies laughed. My finger landed on the: 3 eggs, white toast, grits and home fries. Cup of coffee to drink.
Huh. It was delicious, to me the grits is what made. Once finished I couldn’t leave with out getting a pancake.
Pancake was soft, not dry. It was good.
Came out so full I had to site in my car for a little. I might of bet did it but it was worth it.
So, if you’re looking for a great place to eat and great service. This is the spot for you. Will I come back? Of course.
We were greeted by the hosts as soon as we opened the door. Everyone from the staff to the owners are very welcoming and warm and genuinely care about you.
The food is plentiful and abundant for what you’re paying. I literally feel like I’m eating food made by family who is having a big get together at their house.
I loved everything about my experience.
I recently visited Caffe Latte Da with my family for a Sunday breakfast, and overall, it was a good experience with a few highs and lows.
What I loved:
– The breakfast portions are generous and satisfying.
– The sausage links were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, while the crispy bacon was absolutely delicious.
– The hashbrowns were incredibly well-made, nicely seasoned, and a definite highlight of the meal.
– I ordered cheese grits, which required a bit of table-side seasoning (adding butter, salt, and pepper), but once fixed, they were enjoyable.
What I didn’t love:
– Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t hit the mark for me. I tried the Vietnamese coffee, which traditionally comes sweetened with condensed milk, but this version was far from it. The hazelnut vanilla coffee was okay, but nothing special.
– For a café that emphasizes coffee, I was expecting more in that department.
All in all, I’ll definitely be back for the breakfast, but I’ll skip the coffee next time.
Plenty of room to sit. I got a bacon, cheese omelet, big old fluffy biscuit and grilled potatoes. I could not finish my plate, it was very good. Don’t think you will be disappointed at all. Enjoy the food.
