We ordered the Crab Catch Omelet and the Seriously Southern. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The omelet was so creamy and flavorful, and the bacon on the Seriously Southern was just… wow! Never had anything like it. We were sad when our plates were empty! 🙂 I also ordered a cappuccino, which was surprisingly really good coffee.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great amount of seating, plus a nice bar area.
Our server was super friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!
The service was excellent — our waiter was friendly, cheerful, and very polite, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered coffee and the Fried Oysters Benedict, and my wife had tea with the crab and shrimp omelet. The wait wasn’t long at all, and everything tasted delicious.
We truly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this place.
Our food was ready in a few minutes and did not disappoint! I had the oysters Benedict, and it was Delicious! It had spinach in it and was seasoned to perfection . My friend ordered the catfish and grits and the small piece I tasted was so good!
The atmosphere was great, very chill and we enjoyed our time there. Bridgette was awesome and obliged all of our requests quickly and didn’t rush us. I appreciate the A+ service. Highly recommend and will return!
One thing I genuinely appreciated was the menu design. Vegetarian and gluten-free options were clearly marked, and each dish included detailed ingredient descriptions. Omelets, Benedicts, and other breakfast classics were clearly separated, which made ordering easy and enjoyable.
We ordered the Fleur de Lis omelette and the seafood Benedict, along with hash browns and avocado on the side. The seafood Benedict was actually very good. I am not usually a fan of crab or crab cakes because of the strong taste and smell, but their crab cake was surprisingly excellent. It was clean tasting, well seasoned, and easily one of the better crab cakes I have had. The omelette was fine and enjoyable, and the hash browns were good. Unfortunately, the avocado served on the side was not fresh and had brown spots, which was disappointing.
Service was slower than expected. Even though the restaurant was fairly empty, it took over half an hour for our food to arrive, which felt like a long wait for a simple breakfast.
Another issue worth mentioning is that one of the coffee mugs served to us was chipped along the rim. This is a safety concern, as it could easily cause a cut to the lips, and it took away from the overall experience.
Where Café Fleur de Lis really shines is the atmosphere. The space is clean, quiet, and peaceful, with high ceilings that make it feel open and comfortable. It is a nice place to sit, talk, and enjoy a relaxed breakfast.
Overall, Cafe Fleur de Lis has strong potential for 5 star rating. The menu clarity, seafood Benedict, and atmosphere are definite positives. Improving service speed, food consistency, and basic tableware checks would make a noticeable difference.
The decor was nice. Our server seemed chill, but it all went downhill rapidly. I had to wait for 30 mins for my basic house coffee, then had to chase down our server & remind her to bring it. Got the coffee, but no cream and sugar. Had to ask for those again, got cream, but still no sugar. Also had to ask for butter & jelly, stuff that was supposed to be on the table as we sat down.
Then the food came, late, but it did. The presentation was decent, but Lord was it super salty. My Seafood Benedict also had crab shell bits in the mix. My daughter’s steak was probably soaked in dead sea water for 24 hrs. There was enough salt on it to kill a fly on contact.
When I asked to see the supervisor, our server said ‘sure’ but nothing happened. I then asked another server to see the supervisor & was told he was upstairs. Why was the supervisor hiding upstairs during a busy Sunday brunch service? Who knows.
Btw, a couple of ladies sitting next to us got charged $88 for a couple of eggs & a plate of American breakfast. Our server mixed up the checks & charged them orders from another table on top of what they had. Lovely.
Cute name, cute venue, but bad, bad service.
I was standing outside to finish my tea in order to get in. The staff asked me to sit and no need to worry.
I tried Seafood Benedict Eggs and it’s great! Tast and texture are both fit my taste.
Great place to start a day.
