I came here for the sunset view over Lake Louise. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy out to see the sunset. But I had a phenomenal experience. Right from the start, they made sure I got a beautiful window seat, my server was attentive while giving me time to enjoy my meal & the evening. They are very well trained specialist to make it a magical evening. I got the elk ribs on my servers recommendations.
It was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy and the meat fell a part beautifully. Even the butter rolls were so cute and delicious.
I had a wonderful night here because of how attentive the staff was and appreciate how they went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and recommending other restaurants & entrees at the Fairmont. Thank you! I’ll definitely be back!

We stopped by for lunch and it was such an amazing experience! The atmosphere was unreal right across from the lake with the most beautiful view. Honestly, I expected it to be super pricey, but the prices were very reasonable and totally worth it.
Our server Hannah was fantastic! She gave us the best recommendations,every single dish she suggested was spot on. The Wild Mushroom Ravioli and Roasted Chicken were both incredible (especially the ravioli ,Hannah’s pick!). The Caesar salad on the side and the overall presentation were perfect.
I was also impressed that they have Halal options! Hannah checked with the chef and confirmed the chicken is halal. They also have other halal meats, but they were frozen that day, so we’ll definitely come back to try them next time. It’s so nice to see a fine dining place being so considerate about that.
They even made a wine-free sauce for my ravioli, which I really appreciated. The staff were kind, attentive, and so thoughtful.
And please don’t leave without trying the peach dessert ! it was heavenly!

Had lunch at the Lakeview lounge after morning walk along the lakeshore trail.
the lounge is at the Fairmont Lake Louise Chateau, and it cna be booked by persons who are not guests at the hotel.
The location and atmosphere are incredible, elegant and refined, with magnificient views if the Lake. It has both indooor and outdoor seating – we opted for indoor as the day was a little brisk, even though the outdoor had heaters.
Our waitress Kayla took excellent care of us. She may have warned us that the portion sizes were generous, but if so we took no notice. To start we shared theBurrata & Co Pizzette appetizer. It was deliciuos. The proscuitto was tasty and tender, almost melting in your mouth, and condiments compleliment the dish – of special note the fig and onion jam. But it was ENORMOUS. Between the two of us we could barely finish it, and by this point we knew we were in trouble. For main courses we had BBQ Elk Ribs Stack, and Hour Smoked Beef Rib French Dip. The elk ribs choice was part of my experiencing local offerings.. They were very good – but, experience realized, given the choice in the future I’d choose pork ribs any day. The beef sandhich was good, with a very generous portion size – overwhelming my better half, and after the appetizer I was not the usual help in batting clean-up. Solution was a doggy bag,

After finishing the Lakes Agnes hike in the morning, we had our lunch at the Lakeview Lounge at the spectacular Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Needless to say, the ambience is amazing. We had a clear and lovely view of Lake Louise from our table.
We ordered the Crab Ravioli and the Roast Spaghetti Squash. Both of the dishes were amazing. As it was our special day, the server offered a complimentary dessert!!
The restaurant is expensive but given its location, I would say it’s worth it. Make sure to book the reservations in advance.

One our best experiences while in Lake Louise. We were so fortunate to get a table because they showed completely booked every night we were visiting. The staff were amazing and set us up on the outside patio with the best views of Lake Louise. I had their Tuna and my wife had the lobster salad. Then we finished the night with an apple crumble desert that was wonderful. Cannot thank the staff for such an amazing evening.

It was our wedding day and we booked the Lakeview because it’s the place with the prettiest views in Banff! It was the most beautiful place we’ve ever dined at! And not only were the views absolutely breathtaking, the service was literally the best I’ve experienced. Everyone in Canada is so kind and helpful, and the staff here are top notch. They made sure we got the best window seat, treated us like royalty, and we’re all so amazing. And the food was great on top of it all! We ordered the tableside ceaser salad and it was an experience watching them make it. The mushroom pasta was so tasty! All of this on top of the prettiest views in Banff – I’d go back any day! Thanks for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

12:30 lunch reservation. Parking $45Ca not complimentary. We were seated at the patio as requested for a birthday celebration. Food was good. The service was a little slower than I would have expected, but it gave us an excuse to soak in the scenic view and ambiance. This is a high end establishment and looks good, but some areas of the hotel is a little dated. Enjoyed our food and the brisket sandwich I ordered was impressively delicious and my wife raved about the fresh cut salad prepped at table side. Lake Louise is stunning and it just lift everything else around it as far as impressions.

I reserved this table 5 months before we traveled to Banff. I’ve had my eye on this place for a long time. Was nervous when we arrived. So happy to have dined here. Wasn’t just a meal but an experience. You can’t beat the views! And the service was amazing! Issa was a wonderful server! He recommended the peach cobbler which was delicious and even gave us mousse also! Can’t say enough about this place. Reserve ahead! You won’t be disappointed!

We had lunch at the Lakeview Restaurant at Lake Louise and were seated by the window, the view over the lake was absolutely stunning and really made the experience. The food was overall okay; the beef rib dip was a little dry, but the Caesar salad was very good and nicely prepared tableside, which was a lovely touch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. While the food was solid, the breathtaking lake view is definitely the highlight. A great spot for a scenic lunch at Lake Louise.
