Reviews
The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was patient & engaging & the whole night felt special. The drinks were strong (in the best way) & delicious. The appetizers were incredible & sitting down to eat the pasta dishes made it even better.
Such a fun and unique night out! highly recommend for a date night, girls’ night, or family experience!
Arrived about 10 minutes before the reservation at 5PM, pasta class did not start until like 5:30-5:40. People are arriving late, taking dinner orders.
Class was Full to the max, but the work space given for the class was too squished, as a regular sized man standing next to my wife and another man, I did my class basically with one hand because there was no room to have my body parallel to the pasta board with out interlocking elbows with the person next to you. But the class was really good, enjoyable if you like to cook and get your hands a little messy. I liked how they had 2 instructors on both ends of the long table because it was kinda fast paced.
Dinner Time: The food was excellent, no complaints, very authentic and homemade Italian food. The Spicy Vodka sauce was like actually very spicy, tried to enjoy my food but had to drink water every other bite to calm the heat, but still Delicious.
Service: Could’ve been better at the beginning for my experience, we ordered 4 waters, we didn’t get it until more than half way through the class because we told the server that we never got our WATER, while everyone else is getting served wine and cocktails. And no interaction with the servers when we were sat at the dinner table. Food came out pretty quick though.
Overall Experience: 8.7/10
Thank you Aunt Jake’s for the Great Experience! For the $60 price +tax and gratuity, it was very worth it!
Once inside, it was clear how small and intimate the space is. There’s really only room for the class itself. It genuinely felt like being in an Italian kitchen. The class is held around one long table, probably accommodating about 14–20 people. You’re given an apron and a drink, and then the class begins.
You spend about an hour making several different types of pasta, which are boxed up for you to cook at home later. Afterward, you move to a small dining area where they serve the meal you selected upon arrival.
Everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned across the board. I still dream about that lasagna. The Caesar salad was dressed just right, and the donuts were served hot: crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Overall, this was such an awesome fun and memorable experience.
With amazing food, wine, and cocktails served along the way, it felt more like a celebration than a class. Truly a beautiful experience—highly recommended!
Food was delicious. Seriously cacio de Pepe reminded me of Italy. Desserts were light and not to sweet. And my whole crew raved about their meals. Carmine was a great teacher and had a fun personality; he even put my youngest son next to him and helped him the whole way.
Definitely check out their Instagram because the account conveys the experience.
. I would definitely do it again.
From the decor and atmosphere to the learning experience and every single bite — Aunt Jake’s absolutely delivered!
We booked the pasta-making class, and it was truly such a fun time. We made pasta from scratch while sipping drinks of our choice — two of us chose bottomless sangrias, and the other two enjoyed red + white wine. Our instructor, Joe, was friendly, informative, and made us feel right at home. He taught us multiple pasta shapes, and we each left with 4 types of pasta plus an extra dough ball to freestyle with later. Such a cute touch!
Now the food — amazing.
We started with Cesar salads (x2), meatballs, and calamari — all hits.
For entrees, we ordered Chicken Parm (x2), Lemon Chicken, and Chicken Marsala — not a single bite disappointed.
Dessert was the final cherry on top. We tried the Sundae (oreo cookie crumb, fudge, brownie + vanilla ice cream), and cinnamon sugar donuts.HOLY COW!! Not a crumb left in sight! Lol it’s safe to saw we left completely satisfied.
Pricing felt very reasonable for the experience, portions, and quality! We already agreed we’ll be back — and next time, we’re bringing friends. <3
