Bluebird Taqueria is a quick-service restaurant offering authentic Mexican food made from fresh and flavorful ingredients. The menu features typical favorites including housemade guacamole and chips, healthy salads, burritos, quesadillas, delicious tacos, plates and kid friendly options. The menu is focused on scratch made foods, including corn tortillas, salsas and house–cut chips fried daily. With limited space, seats will be available outside in the Spring but the majority of orders will be to-go.

This place was great. The food was fresh and plentiful. We stopped for a late lunch and didn’t realize that this spot is more of a take out place, but they have little counter against the window with around 8 stools and it’s actually a really nice atmosphere. Definitely has a quick takeout/hole in the wall vibe, but it’s bright by the counter, the place has a nice aesthetic.
You order at the till and the food is made to order in the back and they bring your food out to you. We got the nachos, the fish taco bowl (which was a special) and the shrimp fajitas. All the food was bright, fresh and delicious. The fish was cooked very nicely and had great seasoning. Overall, the food was great.
We had so much food we took leftovers home. It wasn’t just that we got a lot of food, it was that it was delicious as well. And the staff was really nice and attentive.
This place was exactly right for what it is. Delicious, quick, easy, with quality ingredients.

Wow!! Now and then, in Greenwich, unexpected but wonderful restaurant surprises come along. Bluebird Taqueria is one of these surprises. It is modest and almost humble, set in a corner of the Glenville shopping center, with a countertop for “to go” orders, eight simple stools along a window, and an open kitchen. The concept seems to be authentic Mexican street food, prepared with extra flair, so that simple tacos and spicy guacamole and street corn are more delicious than in any other Mexican restaurant within 100 miles.

Amazing spot. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Chips and guac are a must, best I have ever eaten! The quesadilla is huge and delicious as well. I would recommend to takeout since there are not many chairs to sit. I would go again.

I was just here a few days ago, happened upon it on accident on a road trip. What a wonderful surprise. The staff was SO nice!!! I ordered the carnitas and tinga chicken tacos, both were good but the tinga chicken was amazing – had a unique flavor that I already miss. And the tres leches cake was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back here again when on another road trip

Stopped in for lunch, ordered to go, vegetable quesadilla.. DELICIOUS.
I’ve had Mexican food all over, this was the best vegetarian quesadilla I’ve had. FRESH. vegetables were cooked perfectly, not mushy, authentic cheese which was so good!! The flour tortilla tasted homemade (not sure if it was), but toasted to perfection. Not a drop of grease in the container. Super good.
