I had such a wonderful French dining experience here yesterday. The food was truly exceptional from start to finish. The steak was perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The mushrooms were prepared delicately in a rich, delicious sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. The oysters were fresh and excellent, and the artichokes completely surprised me incredibly tender with a crispy, savory finish that honestly changed the way I think about artichokes.

Ronnie, our waiter, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and added to the overall experience with his attentiveness and professionalism. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and aesthetically beautiful, making the entire evening feel special.

I had a really great experience and will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. I already have my eye on the hamburger tower for when I’m in the mood for a great burger or some quick bites.

Highly recommend!

The most beautiful French Brasserie located right inside the iconic Grand Central terminal. Once you’re in their little tucked away restaurant you may even forget where you are. The food is delicious – I always get the French onion soup. There are wonderful choices (including ravioli and cauliflower for the vegetarians). My friends always get a good steak of course. Staff is always so knowledgeable and friendly. And they participate in restaurant week and always have specials for different holidays. Enjoy!

What a beautiful restaurant and surprise sitting on the side of Grand Central. The back bar room is where the walls are lined with bottles floor to ceiling, absolutely beautiful art work. I had the mushroom soup, first time ever and it was amazing I had to close my eyes while eating it. Coq ai vin was so tasteful, pork belly and potato puree brought it all together. And anytime creme brulee is available it’s a done deal. It was on point.

Located at Vanderbilt hall inside Grand Central Terminal, the main dining area is open to the concourse with its usual cacophony of background noise. There is a more private dining green room in the back with darker ambiance and impressive bar.

The food was excellent for the price, onion soup and toasted bread with soft room temp butter. Bouillabaisse was rich in flavor, though did felt some grit from the mussels. The chocolate mousse dessert is as pleasing to the eyes as smooth on the tongue.

Dining cordoned off within feet of passing by commuter was an interesting experience.

This is such a surprise within the grand Central station. It is a very vast and beautifully decorated French Restaurant with incredibly attentive service. Your water will be full at every time no matter what and the waiters will ask you how you are doing many many times. It is a vast space with plenty of seating and one of the more beautiful bars you will ever see with an incredible display of bottles. The food was basically perfect and not surprised me while the prices were also reasonable for New York ci. Easy to get reservations to location is great and you can jump on a train immediately after.

This French restaurant inside the Grand Central Terminal, the atmosphere is just stunning—one of those places that instantly feels special the moment you sit down. The space alone makes the experience memorable, and the food absolutely lives up to it.

We ordered the French dip (their signature for a reason), avocado tartine, salmon, leek vinaigrette, and escargot. Every dish was beautifully done and full of classic French flavors without feeling heavy. Between the food and the incredible setting, it was such an enjoyable, relaxed meal. One of those moments where you forget you’re inside a busy station and just enjoy the time.

I had a very pleasant dining experience at Grand Brasserie. I visited the restaurant for a business meeting with a friend, and the atmosphere was well-suited for both professional conversation and relaxed dining. Despite being located in a busy station, the restaurant felt comfortable, organized, and surprisingly calm.

The food was delicious and well-prepared, with good-quality ingredients and satisfying portions. The service was professional and efficient, which made the overall experience smooth and enjoyable, especially during a work-related meeting.

The location is very convenient for travelers and professionals alike, making it an excellent spot to stop for a meal without sacrificing quality. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider visiting again when passing through the station.

What started as a spontaneous stop for drinks turned into a flawless French dinner. The Grand Brasserie is absolutely stunning, especially with the festive holiday decor–it feels like a classic New York moment.

The service was fantastic; the staff was attentive and made the evening feel truly special.

We started with the Pâté En Croûte, followed by perfectly executed Trout Almondine and Moules Frites. But the real showstopper? The Crème Brûlée. I’ll make a bold claim: it might be the best I’ve ever had. You cannot leave without trying it! A perfect spot for a cozy, elegant meal. The service was out of this world.

If you’re in the Grand Central Terminal, do yourself a favour and stop in!

a lovely valentine’s dinner! ordered scallops, steak frites, and salmon + profiteroles for dessert. loved everything we ordered, didn’t expect the entrecote to be as yummy – even comparable to some steakhouses we’ve been to in nyc. service was a bit slow, prob bc it was busy – but we waited almost 15 minutes for the check, and it didn’t even arrive. the food came out surprisingly fast! nice ambience considering its located inside grand central :).

The vibe is awesome. The food (at least what we ordered) leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered what I thought was a cheese and charcuterie board. However, it comes as a tower (the way seafood is often served) – so it has a lot of oomph in presentation but is lacking in many important ways e.g. after we ordered our drinks and dinner, a small basket of bread and butter, no more than 4 slices, arrived. as did our cocktails. we dug in and each ate 2 of these small slices of a baguette. Then, 20 mins later, the charcuterie tower arrived and when we asked for bread we were told we had already eaten it and if we wanted more, we would have to pay for it separately. Now it’s not a matter of money but it makes no sense to serve your guests the bread they should get with their cheese and charcuterie without mentioning it is part of that course and then tell them they need to order more when the dish the bread is meant for finally arrives. We also ordered a nicoise salad (meh) and an onion soup which my friend has ordered previously and liked. All that said, I would definitely come back here to have an after work drink and a few small appetizers. Dinner type of food probably not.
