So so good! Saw a few reviews and wanted to try myself. The shawarma chicken pita was exceptional. The seasoning on the fries was really good too. But the best was the staff! Each person was kind and helpful, a truly great lunch experience.

BEST GYRO I EVER HAD. It was so flavorful, meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned. Not to mention how BIG the gyro was. I had at other places zivio and osmows, and this HITS different. 11/10

Burger to me was on the dry side, sauce and toppings was good tho, just not for me

Also had their cookie and cheesecake, CHEESCAKE WAS SOO GOOD, it almost taste like a carrot cake cinnamon cheese cake

I stopped into Tasty Gyro Coney Island yesterday and was blown away. This is a locally owned, individually run spot, and you can feel that pride the moment you walk in. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sami, and he and his staff were nothing short of amazing, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of their customers.

The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted homemade and done right, not rushed or generic. You can tell they care deeply about quality and consistency.

Places like this are what keep local food scenes special. Incredible food, top-tier service, and owners who truly care about their customers. I’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending this spot to everyone I know. If you’re thinking about stopping in, do it. You won’t be disappointed

This food was sooooo good! My husband who “doesn’t like Greek food” tried mine and now he wants a platter. 10/10 would recommend. Also the gentleman working the counter was so kind (didn’t catch his name unfortunately).

The best! It’s one of our favorite places. Always friendly. Always delicious. I haven’t ever found a better gyro. The lentil soup is amazing as well. Sami, you’re the best! Thank you for bringing this to Kentwood!

Great spot if you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine! The restaurant is clean, the workers are friendly, and the food is delicious. I had falafel at a restaurant one night (not naming any names) and then the falafel here the next night and I could really taste the difference. In addition to the falafel, I would recommend trying the Greek fries, the hummus, and any of the desserts. Truly I think anything on the menu would be delicious!

First time stopping in today and let me tell you, I genuinely believe this is the best Gyro in Grand Rapids. Blown away by the portions and how well everything tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. 10/10 will be visiting again!

Absolutely wonderful little place. Big selection of food, Gyros, Shawarma, Coney dogs. Tons of options for drinks, just be aware that you cannot get some of the drinks with the combo meal. They’re supporting local businesses by selling their drinks and have a small selection of olive oils and other goods too.

I got a chicken shawarma with fries, and a piece of baklava. All were very good, the baklava was with pecans I think? Not pistachios, but still very good. Their lentil soup (which is free if you get a sandwich) was the gem. So good and comforting, totally worth even a little bit to try. Definitely worth checking out this place, the couple that owns it are very friendly and know what they’re doing.
