I always get the Detroit-style pepperoni gluten-free pizza at Donatina in Patchogue. It is my absolute favorite. The crust is perfectly crispy with that classic Detroit-style edge and the pepperoni is delicious and flavorful. You would never guess it is gluten-free. It is consistently amazing every time with great service and a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend.

Donatina is a favorite spot for Neapolitan pizza, located conveniently to us in Patchogue. Pictured is the Brooklyn pie with cherry peppers subbed in for the red peppers. They’re great at tailoring the pies to your taste. Donatina is very enthusiastically recommended.

Trusted the reviews and decided to try Donatina out. Unfortunately, my husband and I were very disappointed. We got the buffalo chicken pie and it was one of the most disappointing pizzas we’ve had in a while. Little to no cheese, a very small amount of chicken… the pieces were very tiny, dry, and you couldn’t even taste them. Couldn’t even taste the cheese. A TON of hot sauce, and it truly felt like eating pizza crust with hot sauce. Hate to be writing bad reviews, but I also hate spending money and getting something like this.

Had an amazing experience at Donatina yesterday. Popped in to get warm from the parade and hit the restroom but didn’t want to act like some shlub so i bought a slice. I mean it’s the least i could do since they got bills like anyone else and it’s a private establishment. Anyhow, pizza was on point, restroom was spotless, a win all around. And i didn’t have to walk across the street.

The counter person was useless to a first time customer who shared it was the first time to visit. She treated me as a bother, no explanation of the menu or even the process for ordering for dine in or take out
Asked for a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and she just stared at me, then when I asked how large that would be, she said 16 inch pie, I told her that was too big for one pizza, then she said you wanted a Neapolitan size and pointed to a menu above my head.
There was a mushroom pizza listed, asked if I could get pepperoni added, she blankly stared at me.
Pizza was brought to me, no plate, table service, or my Diet Coke. Had to go back to counter to get my Diet Coke, no check back from the waiter.
Pizza was cold, and lacked flavor. I are two slices and left the rest of the pie. Not a place I would recommend.

Have to give props where due. Donatina was at the Long Island Pizza Festival this weekend and man, this was the best pizza there! Not to start anything but miles better than Taglio which I found extra salty and didn’t meet the bar set by “rankings”. The cheese crust Detroit style was so different, crispy, and airy. The young ladies serving everyone were very sweet all evening too. I’ll be coming (for more in the future for sure. Great pizza!

Such an amazing place for delicious gluten free pizza! Service is friendly and the food comes out relatively quick. They also have a good selection of soft drinks. Overall a great place for gluten free Celiac safe pizza.
