Good dinner, with good prices and great food, service was ok as waitress forgot instructions, utensils and seemed distraught….but the food made up for it and still give this breakfast place 5 stars bc that’s what u came for! The FOOD!!

Absolutely appalled and disappointed in the service.
I’ve ordered here numerous times for take out, but after today we’ll be going to Everybody’s Favorite instead.
Our food came without utensils or condiments (we did ask when picking up) and looked as if it had been thrown into the containers. I called to talk to the manager and was told they were too busy to talk, which I completely understand – however after explaining the issue (no hollandaise for an eggs Benedict, no syrup for pancakes, no creamer for coffee, no utensils – which all but hollandaise had been asked for directly) I was told “sorry have a good day” (literally) and hung up on.
If this is how you treat customers after your business makes a mistake I can only imagine your customer base will dwindle.

I had breakfast there recently. I got two eggs over easy,wheat toast and home fries. $10+ was a bit high I think .Great service but home fries while plentiful were kind of bland. . A so so visit

Love Ollie’s diner you will too. They cook my eggs just perfect not many restaurants can I say that about… I like poached! My husband’s french toast is a delight. My friend loves to go there for lunch when we get together. The wait staff is terrific! I recommend them 100%. The prices are very reasonable for sure I’ll say, so it doesn’t break the bank to have a nice meal out. They have many choices to select from from the menu and the specials board . When I leave there I don’t smell like fried food and my stomach doesn’t feel greasy… like I shouldn’t have ate that funny as that sounds but I’m sure you know what I mean. If you don’t have a lot of time, here’s another reason you should go. They are so efficient. Don’t let a line that you see or cars deter you. You won’t be waiting long. I hope you get an opportunity to go you won’t be disappointed! Deb S.

Ollie’s continues to be one of the best local diners in the Providence area. High-quality food and well-prepared. Today I ordered the steak and eggs w home fries and rye toast ($8.99, a bargain!) The good-sized steak was perfectly cooked (medium) and surprisingly tender and juicy. Eggs prepared over-easy with crispy home fries and rye toast. Total bill with coffee was $11.87 plus tip. The service at Ollies is always fast and friendly. They offer a variety of tempting specials every day. I visit only occasionally but when I enter and leave, the owner-chef always says hello and goodbye, as does my waitress. Great place!

Polite (but slow) service, decent food, family vibes.
My experience:
Ordered simple test food – 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, home fries
~35 minutes from ordering and still no breakfast—
Thursday (late morning). The coffee is barely brown water. Attendant is nice… food (as yet) unknown.
42 minutes- over medium eggs show up with runny whites, food sent back to kitchen. Barely over easy. Very disheartening.
48 minutes-correct food arrives, eggs slightly over done (understandable given the first were sent back)
Sausage is excellent. Perfectly tender and flavorful.
Bacon is tender not overcooked, lightly crisped ( nice and salty )
Home fries require salt and a bit over paprika’d, but totally acceptable as is.
Wheat toast perfectly buttered.
Ice water has no additional flavors—no ammonia, chloride, or other flavor.
