I see this all the time and finally have to try it for it looked authentic and of course, local mom & pop type of resto. I got Beef Kebab. It was served quick, looks yummy and generous portion. It wasn’t the best, definitely not bad, actually quite delicious, both the beef and the rice. I just wished though that the beef was hot to appear fresh out the grill but it’s almost like close to cold, fully cooked though. Overall, more of 3.5✨ for I will give it another chance.

I wasn’t very impressed. I got the quarter chicken and one rib. The leg and thigh were very small I’m guessing the leg was about three and a half inches. The inside on and around the leg bone was black. The inside of the thigh was yellow and stringy, very average at best. I had a couple of bites of each that’s about all I had an appetite for even though I was hungry. The rib was mushy with a vinegar type flavor. Not good. They do provide a lot of fries which were hot with seasoning.

I’ve been EYEING this place for a very long time every since I was dinning from another food establishment across the street. Now that I have step foot in this establishment, I felt relief I can give a REVIEW on it. Keep in mind its a small GREEK establishment and parking can be pack but I went durimg the afternoon so there was plenty of parking. When I walk-in, feel like a Subway kinda atnosphere…..maybe its just the tile floor? It does show its age and there are things that needed a make over but in the future, if the owner(s) decided to remodel….avoid the restroom at all cost unless its an EMERGENCY to use so I knock it down a star. The whole point of this review is the FOOD obviously and the service. From the looks of things, Im please with the service and the order I receive. I end up doing a TAKE OUT and order a CHICKEN SALAD and DOUBLE CHICKEN KABOB with soda drinks(unlimited refill). Getting my food would take 5-8 minute from the time I put in my order and you would see them cooking the chicken kabob on the grill. When my order was ready, I was surprise at the amount of food portion they gave me…well worth the price. Then came to tasting the food….oh boi oh boi! I was lit by the season flavor on the chicken. I’m very very satisfy and this hidden local place should be on your radar to try. Will come again for the WHOLE CHICKEN!! I BE BACK!

After seeing so many reviews on this place, we decided to give it a try. Not impressed. Ordered the chicken & 1 rib and the chicken was small and dried out–not good at all. Got a 1/2 plate of rice, but for $35, we can do better at a buffet. I used to run a restaurant not far from here back in the ’80’s and some of the things I saw in the restroom–the health department would have written it up in my day. Won’t be back.

Nice restaurant. I went there with my friend we both ordered chicken gyro wrap with fries. Unfortunately, they gave us lamb gyro instead of chicken gyro. We told them, and we had the option to take it or they will change it for us. The lamb was good, but they brought chicken gyro for us to try. I would definitely recommend the chicken gyro Instead of the lamb. The service was great. One thing that they don’t wear gloves, but they wash they hand a lot.

Finally tried this place out, Best Chicken and Ribs.
First order I purchased was a Gyro Platter, it came with a small salad a Gyro wrapped up a ready to eat except for the white sauce in a separate container and a ton of rice in a to-go container. Which I was told that it was great and tasted very good.
My second order was the Chicken and Ribs Combo, One Rib and One Chicken Leg quarter. and rice filling the other half of the container..
The Ribs were absolutely tasty. the massive amount of rice was also awesome. The chicken on the other hand was mostly dry and discolored, like it had been sitting for quite awhile.
They were very nice at the counter for ordering and service as well, as well as the quick service for the order.
I will definitely do the only Ribs and/or the Gyro next time, it was worth the visit and I will return.

My only regret is not going here earlier. Incredibly authentic fast causal dining experience.
The chicken flaked off perfectly but wasn’t dry at all. The beef was well seasoned as well and the salad dressing was incredible. The seasoning on the rice was also well thought out. Very great good.

We got two combination plates, one with rice, one with fries. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The beef, chicken and lamb were all different but equally delicious. The lamb was my favorite. The yellow rice was better than plain white rice. The server said she was from Persia and was very nice. I will go back again to try other dishes.

A Persian chicken and ribs joint that is one of the jewels of SLC. Everything is fabulous: roast chicken, chicken & beef kabob, bob kabob (aka koobideh), gyro, etc. Their house dressing is delicious and their portions are generous. Been going regularly for a long time and have never had a bad experience.
