The Chicken Fried Steak was awesome, scores 12 out of 10 it was so good. Reta the owner was very nice and a joy to talk to. Went back to try the steak and it was terrific, perfectly seasoned and cooked and no fat, all meat.

Small town bar that hasn’t been updated (or cleaned) in decades. The A/C was broken so it was 90+ degrees inside. We had 3 bottles of Coors Light and it was $32 dollars. SORC was in town so I guess we got the “special” rate.

Great place to eat! We got there about three, the owner was snuggled in her recliner when we ask if she was serving hot food she replied she don’t serve hot food to anybody then said she could make us something what did we want. We told her two hamburgers and fries. She acted like she really didn’t want to make them but she did and then became very talkative. She mentioned she was just lazy in the afternoons. Once she warmed up to the idea that we were going to eat there she was friendly as all get out! Good place to eat with a friendly atmosphere once she got up and moving.

We dropped in on road trip and happened to show up for Sunday buffet. It was excellent old school comfort food. Half the town showed up for the buffet. Great memory!
