I was on my lunch break and didn’t want something heavy so I walked into smoothie king. it was really clean and the employee was super friendly. I was unfamiliar with the menu so he helped me through the options based on what I liked. I landed on the strawberry Gladiator. It was a great consistency and really tasty. I downloaded the app to get rewards so I will definitely be back!

I LOVE Smoothie King! I grew up blocks away from the original location and have been drinking their smoothies for decades.
My usual smoothie is the Almond Mocha made with no turbinado or any substitute. The first time I ordered it at this location I had to step back in the store after my first sip to ask if they used a sweetener. The girl responded that it was made just as I requested; there was no sweetener. I told her that it tasted strange but there was nothing she could do, so I went on my way.
There was something artificial about it.
I’ve been back to this location three or four more times and every time the Almond Mocha tastes very different at this location than any of the other locations I’ve been to.
I suspect there is something wrong with the way they are being taught to make it.
Considering that and the fact that their smoothies are priced higher than other locations, I’m going to have to skip them.
