This was my first time coming to the W, I’ve always heard amazing things about the hotel but nobody prepared me about how phenomenal the ambiance, food and EVERYTHING would be! For starters it was my birthday and the Bartender/Server GRACE was serving me for the evening and if I could give 10+ stars just for her alone I would!! From the time me and my mother walked in to the time we left she made sure our experience was TOP TIER. The kindness and care about her job plus us as customers was absolutely outstanding. Food was IMMACULATE & I met the chef ( Chef Jen ) who was absolutely amazing as well, such a beautiful soul. Wonderful staff , wonderful food and overall Grace completed my birthday with her great spirit & made sure I had everything and went over and beyond. Thank you guys and I’ll definitely be back again & Grace if you see this THANK YOU, continue being great!

I dined at the W restaurant with my daughter for her 25th birthday. The food was stellar, we had the crab cakes & seared scallops for appetizers. I had the shrimp carbonara pasta for my entree. The server named Grace was absolutely amazing. She was extremely attentive, suggested meals when we first got there. She was pleasant and continually checked on us to make sure that we were ok. I highly recommend them for great food, great customer service and a great overall experience. 10/10

If I could give the food zero stars, I would. I wana first say that the lady that served us our room service was very nice. However, the food was disgusting! I order fried fish and grits. I requested the fish be fried hard. The meal was literally a small portion of purple grits that were unidentifiable if you didn’t already know what you ordered. The purple grits were in a literal pool of what is suppose to be a county onion gravy. The sauce was not a gravy but, more of a thin, liquid cream sauce with lumps of I don’t know what. The fish was a small piece of whitening cut in half with thick soft skin. The fish was so soggy from being cooked lightly and also sitting in the pool of mystery sauce. The toast was hard and dry. Those grits and fish literally made me nauseous. I want to note that yes, I know purple grits are a thing but, these looked a mess and tasted the same. That was my first and last time ordering from Local Motives. I should’ve took pics but I was so disgusted that I was not even thinking about that at the time.

My buddy and I were in the area and wanted to go somewhere close by after we finished scuba diving at the GA Acquarium and we’re actually walking towards Catch 21 when it started to rain. As we were trying to find an alternate place that was high quality we accidently came across this and only went in to avoid walking in the rain. Best accident ever!!!! High quality food, decent prices for what you get and the bartenders we’re amazing. We went to ALOT of places during the week we were in Atlanta to try local favorites and each were unique in their own way. Of all places though this place tops them all. Decor of the bar is very contemporary and it’s located at the W Hotel across from the Acquarium. The bartenders are true mixoligists! Food was eldente! If I go back there I’ll definately go there again and again….it’s that good.

Absolutely disappointing, which is surprising being that the bar/restaurants in most W Hotels are great. First night here, we wanted to get a quick drink before heading out to dinner. The service was extremely slow. We had to rush out to make our reservation. Second day here was a decent experience which is why I didn’t give 1 star. I believe the bar manager was on shift and he was training. Even with that the service was still faster than the first day. Day three was THE WORST. It was a little busier but by no means crowded. I got my food and drink fast enough. But when I was ready to get a second drink, there was no bartender available. The barback advised the bartenders were on break. I’ve never seen bartenders go on break in the middle of service with no back up. We were without a bartender for about 20 minutes. At this point, I no longer want my second drink. I also witnessed the barback clear cups from a customer that left and put the napkins back in the napkin holder. Just disappointing all around.

The food is just OK. Drinks are about average for a hotel restaurant you’ll pay eight dollars for a beer. We were the only customers in the restaurant but they were very inflexible on parking. You can get your parking comped if you order an entrée. Two people in the group order entrées, but they weren’t the ones driving. Since the person who had the car arrived later did not order an entrée, the parking was not comped.

I had the scrambled eggs grits and chicken sausage toast
You get a good portion of food. The grits are purplish blue and I frowned but when I tried it was great. The flavor was there and did not need anything not salt or pepper was needed to make it taste better. Chicken sausage was cook perfectly
It was a great breakfast for it to be conveniently in the hotel
