We went into this wonderful Bistro in Vernon for our lunch while passing through, and it was one of THE VERY best experiences in eating✅️✅️. We had ordered Thai salad, caesars, tomato soup, and pumpkin cheesecake for desert Oh my, did we get unexpected TREATS‼️Delicious There are two chefs cooking and preparing here-Ronnie and Mark, and after our meals we just had to go and find out more about them. The tomato soup we had here was incredible-a wonderful flavour that I had never had- nor expected before in a tomato soup- Their homemade soups are varied, made from scratch by them, and flavours change every day apparently‼️ Thai salad I have had many times before- BUT -this one and THEIR delicious peanut dressing had us wanting more . The caesars were just perfect and spicy! We also had tea that they get from a specialty tea shop-it was SO good that we asked for the remainder to be put into cups for more of our car journey rather than leave it! Their homemade pumpkin pie was to die for✅️✅️ All the recipes come from them, and apparently food is daily made from scratch. Another real absolute customer’s favourite is carrot cake! We had a lovely helpful waitress called Kiran. They also cater and make charcuterie boards, and sandwiches, etc. This little place is clean, pleasant, prices are VERY fair .The food is presented beautifully even-not like ANY bistro we have ever been to anywhere ✅️ Way to go Midtown Bistro✅️✅️

In Vernon for some work training and a quick internet search on where to eat put Midtown Bistro at the top of the list. Ordered the Pot Roast with the pear & goat cheese salad, and it was easily one of the top meals I’ve had this year! The food was perfectly prepared, professionally presented, and generously proportioned. I normally try a different restaurant every night when travelling but I will be making an exception and going back again before I leave town.

We have just returned home after enjoying a wonderful evening with friends at the Midtown Bistro. 4 people, 4 different meals, all excellent. But save room for dessert, they are some of the best we’d shared in a long time. Great staff, great chef, nice dining experience. We were regulars at the Midtown Bistro pre-covid. We are happy to rediscover a new, excellent version of this downtown treasure.

Midtown Bistro was a highlight on our recent trip to Vernon. We visit Vernon once or twice a year and this will now be our go-to lunch/dinner place. The food was absolutely incredible, from starters, mains, and the desserts. We had the goats cheese bruschetta and spinach dip to start -both accompanied by bread from sweet Caroline’s – both dishes were some of the best we’ve ever had. For mains we had the pancit (best dish of the night) and the shepherds pie special (also delicious). And for dessert I had the carrot cake boxed up to eat later. It was incredible as well. I struggled to pick what I wanted to try on the menu and can’t wait to come back to try the sliders, stir fry and the Thai salad. Prices were very fair. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

First of all, the friendly warm atmosphere was so welcoming. We were greeted and seated right away. I loved the fun art on the walls. The service we received was so great—friendly, quick and efficient. The food was delicious, fresh and well presented. My son was able to choose the heat level of the butter chicken which was great because he loves spicy heat and they got it spot on. The pulled pork dinner was great and I opted to upgrade my side to the pear and goat cheese salad—yum! Loved the coleslaw and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Hubs and daughter enjoyed their sliders with mac n’cheese. The carrot cake was wonderful as well. The only slight disappointment was the caramel cheesecake which was a bit flat and underwhelming. Overall a lovely dining experience and we hope to return soon!!

Update: Second visit to Midtown Bistro and it did not disappoint! The pulled pork slider was flavorful, the creamy caper chicken was rich and perfectly cooked, and THE ONE MILLION SPAGHETTI was as amazing as the name. Dessert was the perfect sweet touch. Big thanks to Chef Ronnie and his team for the delicious food, and to Eva for her warm, excellent service. A must-visit spot!

I like to take my Mom to Midtown bistro. The food is always good, as well as the service and the prices are reasonable. I would like to kindly suggest though to have coffee that is not flavored as an option as well. While some people really like flavored coffees others prefer it to just have a nice full flavored roasted coffee taste without the extras. Thank you.
