Excellent Italian food. Met friends there for dinner and our meals were all fantastic. We went during the week so it wasn’t very crowded. The waiter brought out a few free appetizers for us to enjoy, and then we got one or two ourselves. The food in the service were very very good. The location is at the end of a strip mall in waldwick so there’s only so much atmosphere you can expect, but everything was clean tidy and enjoyable. We have been meaning to try this place for years and I’m kind of sorry now that we didn’t try it sooner.

There are Italian restaurants and there is LIMONCELLO. A true gem when it comes to Italian cuisine. Everything over there is perfect. Atmosphere, service, and the food – of course. We have discovered this place by accident and will be visiting it frequently. And one more thing – five stars is not enough to rate this place.

We usually go in person and really enjoy our meals and the service. This time we ordered through Uber Eats, which was a pleasure Our food was just great! It arrived hot and delicious. Very generous portions and we appreciated the little ‘extra’ of a free dessert. We won’t hesitate to use Uber Eats to deliver our dinners from Limoncello again, that’s for sure!

When it comes to the food! Unfortunately, each and every time we have dined in, the service is less than stellar. A big Part of the dine in experience is the serving experience ! I am assuming they are the owners- the 2 gentleman are very accommodating and kind. The servers is the big problem here. Very rude and not the 5 star service a place with this type of food deserves. I give people the benefit of the doubt and will be back, but please take this into consideration going forward. When people are spending money in your establishment, kindness is key!

If i could give the service here 10 stars, I would. Such a generous and wonderful restaurant. Food is always delicious. The little “extras” are unexpected but very appreciated (like artichoke francaise served as you are studying the menu). Another example: My recent to-go order for my ailing father contained an extra “surprise” dessert. I wish all restaurants were like this one. It is truly special!

Great food for average prices. The stuffed mushrooms were great but the table next to us had oysters Rockefeller that smeeled fantastic. The lamb shank was a special and was extremely tender and flavorful. My date had the house ravioli and said they were some of the best in the area, I believe they are made in house but don’t quote me. The dessert section is massive and they bring you a display cart so you know exactly how good everything looks.

What a great find. Went for lunch on a Sunday. The place was packed and a private party was going on. Service was perfect and the food was awesome. A large lunch special is available as well as a full menu. A medium size restaurant with no wasted space. Deserts were all fresh. Only wish it was closer to home.

From the little corner of a strip mall in Waldwick, Limoncello was an incredible find on Open Table. Named after the classic Italian liqueur with a unique unmistakable lemon flavor and opened for 10 years, this establishment is a small casual BYOB restaurant. From the beginning, my partner, our friends and I were impressed by the hospitality of this family owned restaurant of two brothers (Remy and Jimmy) functioning as both host and server and decided to have dinner tonight. Reservation is highly suggested as the place was packed upon arrival. The menu has many traditional Italian dishes. Complimentary garlic bread, warm loaf and salad started our meal. As appetizers, we got Brie Cheese in a phyllo dough fresh fruit honey cranberry glaze and Calamari with sesame ginger sauce. For entrees, Pollo Calabrese (breast topped gorgonzola, wild mushrooms and red wine), Rigatoni Vodka in pink sauce, Rigatoni Angello with sweet sausage peas mushrooms pink sauce, Stuffed Rigatoni consisting four cheese vodka pink sauce and Homemade Cheese Manicotti with Bolognese meat sauce and spinach. The food was fresh, well seasoned, delicious and the portions generous. Some of us had room for dessert and got the limoncello cake and lime mousse pie. The staff including one of the owner’s son Danny was very friendly and provided great service. They were attentive but certainly not intrusive. The restaurant appears to be very clean with comfortable table seating and tablecloths. Our first visit to Limoncello will not be our last as we can recommend this place.
