Reviews
The food quality was absolutely terrible. I’ve been to more than 100 Indian restaurants across over 25 countries, including India itself, and without a doubt this is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever visited. I honestly don’t know who is cooking here.
The biryani was completely tasteless, and the rice tasted old and smelled unpleasant. The naan—well, I have no idea what that was. It certainly wasn’t naan.
The service was just as bad. The lady serving us kept coming to the table just to adjust the tablecloth, which made the whole experience awkward and uncomfortable.
They really need to learn how to cook before opening a restaurant.
We had initially tried to check Indian restaurant reviews on Google Maps, but none of our mobile networks were working at the time, so we couldn’t access reviews. Had we been able to do so, we definitely would not have walked into this restaurant.
The food portions were shockingly small—perhaps suitable for children, but absolutely not for adults. A normal adult would need at least 2–3 portions to feel satisfied. On top of that, the food was not tasty at all, which made the experience even worse.
After leaving the restaurant and later checking the reviews, we noticed that the majority of customers shared similar feedback, with many even stating that the restaurant should be shut down as it is not doing justice to its purpose. Sadly, our experience fully aligns with those reviews.
The service was another major letdown. The lady serving us was very rude and visibly impatient, even though we only took just a few minutes to decide on our order. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a hospitality environment.
Overall, this was a very poor experience in terms of food quality, portion size, and service. We would not recommend this place and will certainly not be returning.
The chapatis and naan were a complete joke—dry, tiny, and nowhere close to authentic. The mango lassi was a scam: just milk with mango flavor, nothing fresh, nothing real. This restaurant clearly prioritizes squeezing money out of customers over quality or basic hospitality. Total waste of time, money, and appetite. Avoid at all costs.
While a lot of reviews below have mentioned the service to be rude, we found the Indian lady to be nice and helpful. However the portion sizes were very disappointing as per the price. We also had to ask for extra rice as only one small bowl of half-boiled rice was provided despite ordering Choley, Chicken Korma and Dal Fry.
My taste buds and stomach were decidedly dethroned.
The waitress was rude from start. The taste was horrible and the portion to price ratio was total joke. I always search for Indian restaurant in new places but this experience made me rethink my decision. Better go to some local French cafe and enjoy french food than be disappointed going here.
