I arrived at about 12:30 p.m. and I think I saw a couple of other customers otherwise I was the only one. Seated right away with a pleasant server. Order the beer and looked at a fairly extensive menu. Got to seaweed salad to start with and it was good with a generous portion. I also got there are two different types of fish row sashimi and again good portions. Main course was Hunan lamb and it was okay. It’s supposed to be spicy but the sauce is kind of bland with a spice coming from a bunch of dried hot peppers added in. If you eat one of the peppers you get a little bit of heat, if you don’t there’s no heat. I had some time to eat the salad before I ordered the rest of the food and then there wasn’t much time in between each course. So the lamb said for a little while cooling off before I got to it. Fairly nice inside and clean except for there’s food between the booth seat and seat back questions. All in all it was okay but I won’t be in any great rush to return.

First time here, we went in the evening, it was slower and got seated immediately. Food and appetizers came out fast and we filled our bellies right away. My family and I enjoyed what we ordered but a little different than what we usually enjoy from the chinese menu.
My husband got the hibachi dinner and it was definitely more on the saltier side, almost un-edible but he was able to finish the meat.
I got the triple delight and it was ok as the sauce is not like the usual dark and savory. What they served was a glutinous and light broth stir-fried in with the meats and veggies. It’ll be hard to adjust but if you like light light version, this is it! We also ordered pad thai noodles and my son enjoyed it, he said it was sweet not savory. Lastly, my kiddos got items from the Japanese menu and the rolls were excellent! Definitely recommend the rolls.
One of the workers were amazing as well, she blew up some balloons for my kids. Thank you!

It’s only my second time and I’m still loving it! Best hot&sour soup in the area, sushi/sashimi melts in your mouth, quick service for a cozy place and attentive staffs. Will have to try their Chinese menu next.

I will start off by saying this is the best General Tso’s Chicken I have had as long as I can remember. If you have been looking for that type of American-Chinese food this place has it nailed as far as I have experienced! Best crab rangoons in La Crosse for sure. Chicken was fried perfect and the sauce was well balanced and so yummy. My brother in law had the spicy beef ramen, I tried the broth and it was very yummy. The sushi was great too. The only mild downside was the sushi did take a bit longer than the other food as I think there was just one person working. I did not downvote at all for this as the food was worth the wait.

Although the food is very good the service is epically slow. Always small children with loud iPads playing over top of conversation and the ambient music. 2nd time I waited nearly 10 minutes with an empty restaurant without even being asked about a drink. Doubtful to return

I was really excited to try a sushi restaurant in La Crosse because there are very few sushi restaurants in the area. We had a great experience as far as the service and the food tasted great. My husband and I shared a sunset special roll, edamame, and crab rangoon – all were delicious. I had a maki roll combo which came with soup, salad, and three separate rolls made with raw in salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. The tuna roll tasted great, but the other two did taste a little fishy. Unfortunately, I did end up getting sick about an hour after eating the sushi, which is a risk you take anywhere when consuming raw fish. Despite the food sickness, we did have a pleasant experience.

I am so happy to have Tokyo Fusion join the restaurant scene of downtown La Crosse. The sushi was incredible – I had the Sushi Star. I would’ve posted a picture of the crab rangoon, but we ate them too quickly. Best crab rangoon I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

We have eaten tokyo fusion three times now (twice carry out and once in the restaurant) and the food and service were phenomenal every time! We have tried 3 different sushi rolls, two different Chinese chicken dishes, and the vegan ramen and we were happy dancing with each bite 🙂 we also tried the crab rangoons and the gyoza appetizers and those were fantastic as well! Definitely recommend trying it out!
