Reviews
Number one “#1” is an older post before trying to eat here and underneath that is my update about this restaurant.
#1 Sending my friend over to grab carry out to judge and make an honest review I’ll let everyone know how it goes within a hour or two, I have not had good authentic Mexican food since Chicago with family and friends Hoping it’s great family food made from the heart
“UPDATE” first thing is upon arrival my friend was made fun of by three young ladies because she looks different and is older would have given no stars but obviously can’t and 2 stars is only for the young man that gave those three girls a dirty look and didn’t join in so he’s at least more decent than the older workers, I ordered 2 burritos, 3 tacos, 2 drinks and it can up to about 60 which I feel is extremely overpriced then they wouldn’t give me a receipt which they can actually get into trouble for because anytime a restaurant doesn’t give a receipt something is up that means you shouldn’t go there, It was to late for me food was done paid it and my friend brought it back for us to share upon opening it they didn’t give me my 3 tacos I called and she said something about paying for them again until the young man stepped in and said I paid for it already, that’s why it’s a red flag that they didn’t want to give a receipt and because restaurants have to give you some kinda receipt even a written one and they refused, so after that little scene my friend had to pick them up bring them back so we can finally eat open opening the burritos they only had rice basically the entirety of both burritos where mainly “Rice” with tiny bits of meat no fresh vegetables no trace of sour cream guacamole and on top of that they charge me extra for more meat when I only asked to please make sure there’s a decent amount on there but ended up getting rice burritos I’m really upset about this because I have not had the chance to eat food like this since I lived in Chicago years ago my family and friends cook food like this and it’s way better, and they are Mexican this was just sad the only thing half decent was kinda the tacos and horchata was decent the rest was terrible I would not in good faith send people here as it is right now one because of the receipt thing BECAUSE they HAVE to give you a receipt they can get into for this a paying customer buying your product and services and you refused to give a receipt yeah, don’t come here until they straighten up a bit and I feel they take advantage of someone they think is uneducated in their culture and treat them indifferently, Hopefully they get better but if they won’t hand you a receipt even a written one just leave because that’s not normal, I am usually sick as others know but I got a major stomach ache from their food and took me well over a day or two to eat two tacos and a few bites of the burritos and I regret it every time I tried but they charged to much and didn’t want to waste food since the next day it’s closed. So I can say there’s a lot of reasoning to why the rating is at 2 stars ⭐️ ⭐️
Hopefully they change and get better in the near future, not holding my breath considering how they are indifferent towards anyone with differences.
Oh, by the way just to add, the rice and beans to go was exactly like the size of Taco Bell which is sad. Then the lady took a picture of the tacos they forgot like I was lying instead restaurants should have cameras so why not look and see what was made and bagged? Luckily the young man spoke up and said he forgot but she still was being skeptical about it I definitely would not recommend especially if your different hopefully They change
Not holding my breath though.
My family loves ground beef tamalés the most. I personally liked Pastor tamalés as well .
They make taco Birria with other meat options as well which we LOVE .
All the tacos were delicious.
We just LOVE their ground beef tamalés the most ❤️. It has a nice kick to it so get chicken if you can’t do spicy food.
Horchata was so yummy as well!!
They just know what they’re doing
