The food is amazing. I would have given 5 stars for service (because my first time getting take out from this place was top notch) but my second time getting take out was Wednesday evening 2/18/26. I just got back in town from a customer meeting and my husband knew I didn’t want to cook. I called first at 8:30 to make sure they would still accept a take out order. They were kind to take my order. When I got there around 8:45 they only had one couple dining in right before close. I went up to the counter to pick up my order. You could tell they were doing their closing tasks and the young lady that came to the counter was not having the best day from how she greeted me. She could have been upset at the couple dining there and it had nothing to do with me but I felt un welcome. She probably assumed I was about to place an order. My smile immediately faded after how she greeted me. I purchased the combination fajita meal for two (just chicken and shrimp). Her attitude changed once she realized I was just picking up an order. I still was sad about the experience and could not appreciate her change in attitude. I paid and left an 87% tip. Why did I even tip? Because I genuinely felt bad about coming in late before they were to close even though I called in advance to make sure it was okay to still order take out. I tipped because I hoped it would help her to maybe not greet customers the way she greeted me whether she was having a bad day or not. This post is not to discourage you from trying their food. The food is amazing. I am posting in hopes that her leaders look at it as a coaching opportunity for her. I am not sure if I will go back for a while because of that experience. I hope whoever caused her to have such a bad day…goes back to make it right. The fajita meal we ate that night was delicious. Five stars to the chef! Treat others how you’d like to be treated. – Peace.

This is authentic Mexican food, at last. After years in the Montgomery County area searching for the perfect authentic restaurant, I found it yesterday. This place is priced right and the food is perfect!!! I loved it. They have a customer for life!

The food always taste fresh and homemade. The prices by far are the best around. The portion sizes are well worth your money. Theres a nice comforting dining room home cooking atmosphere.

Pretty authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes. Prices are very affordable. For 2 large cups of agua frescas and two hefty meals, chips and salsa all for $40 including tip is a great deal compared to other restaurants. Dining in is always a pleasure.

Awesome prices! My wife and I ate fajitas for 2 with a coke and a tea… ticket was 35 bucks with the tip! Cozy little place with great food and friendly service! Not a big name franchise. It is a owner operated restaurant with quality food in a clean facility! Highly Recommended!

Delicious Mexican food and an amazing little family operated restaurant on 105. It’s basically an old house converted into a restaurant. The father started the business and his two sons work their also. The food is amazing! The portions are large and the prices unbelievable. Two can eat dinner well for $25.

I absolutely love their food! Plus, they do accomadate you for food items not on the menu. I was craving a good chimichanga and after calling other resturants to see if this was on the menu, I was feeling sad to hear no. When I called Leija’s Mexican resturant, the individual that answered said chimichangas are not on our menu however we will make them for you.
This is how you get and keep business!

I ordered an additional meal on top of the other ones because they were making an exception for me. I felt valued and appreciated for being a customer. Definitely would go here again! The food is always delicious and their services Beyond superb!

Highly recommended!

I called in a order for a caldo de mariscos and some nachos let me just say that the soup was horrible, it was bland kinda like of water. It really disappointed me because I had really liked the food for the past of couple times. Never coming back.
