Perfect little spot to stop into for lunch or brunch! Food was incredible, great flavor profiles and combinations. My husband got the Brunch Burger and I got the Pig and Goat Burger-both were incredible! Drinks were great too-the caramel apple mimosa with fireball was perfection. The entire staff was so friendly and treated us like family or long time friends stopping in, even though this was our first time here. The owner came out and chatted with us for a bit and was such a salt of the earth human, who clearly treats his staff well. His wife was the one and only server, handling every order with a smile. Can’t say enough good things about this sweet little restaurant! If we lived closer we would be regulars, but we will be back next time we are in the area! Thanks for such a wonderful experience and amazing food at such a reasonable price!

Our family and I REALLY wanted brunch this morning. We are from New England and moved here a year ago and we’re still learning the area. We found this FANTASTIC little cafe in downtown Statesville that I can’t gatekeep. The chef/owner (Jeff) was the biggest sweetheart and cleaned our table and chatted with us for 10-15 min. They were super popular and we did have to wait for a little bit, but the food was worth the wait.
They also had some really cute looking cocktails that I want to try next time
They are open Thu-Sun. Everything is wild caught and Local. Check them out!

How have I never been here before?! From the moment I walked in, the service was flawless — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented.
I sat near the kitchen and every single plate that came out looked like it needed to be on my table. The menu has so many tempting choices that I’m already excited to come back and try more.
One tip — they close at 2, so make sure you plan your visit. This place is a must-visit in Statesville!

Came in on Saturday around 11 for breakfast. The restaurant was almost fully packed, but we were still seated and taken care of immediately. Two ladies tag-teamed the entire brunch rush, and our server patiently answered questions from the other patrons about potato seasonings and seasonal fruit. The menu has a solid selection, and the food came out quick and delicious. The portions for the sides were a little smaller, but the size of the mains made up for it. The breakfast Cuban was well worth the money.

My family and I came here on a lunch stop on a 10 hour road trip and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! The strawberry grilled cheese was amazing and the chicken sandwich was huge and totally stole the show. I would absolutely come again if we’re ever here for some reason and I highly recommend it! Good service and atmosphere with outside seating too.

First time here and I was very impressed. The cute little cafe on Court Street in downtown Statesville boasts Charleston style food with lots of flavor. On this particular morning for a Saturday brunch we had the Lowcountry shrimp-n-grits and the Charleston shrimp omelette. They both were super fresh and packed full of flavor, absolutely delicious! They have a very nice selection of mimosa’s and mixed drinks. The staff is great, very friendly and nice. There is 10 or so tables inside and a could out front for seating. It fills up fast and is tight seating , so come early or plan to wait. With this cute exterior and delicious food inside you are sure to love this place too!

This place not only handled a rush with extreme eloquence, they also delivered on every criteria imaginable. The mimosas were delicious, and bubbly, the service was perfect despite the busy atmosphere and high demands of customers, music was at a decent level, the vibes were immaculate, lots of smiles. AND THE FOOD, oh my god the food is so good, chicken and waffles is a must try!! You’ve gotta come try this food place if you’re in the area or willing to commute before they close!

Awesome food. Great coffee. Great service. Highly recommend a modification to the shrimp-n-grits … substitute shrimp with pork belly. Add a side of spicy collard greens. Voila. Perfection. And the play list is classic.
