Worth the drive to Cornwall from Sudbury! Been listening to my family talk about this place for years. Come down to see family and we go there for food. What an experience! Excellent staff, really good food! Could use more pic nic tables outside. Besides that worth it!❤️

I have had pizza from here in the past and it was really good.
Not this time! On 02-19-2026 I paid $31 for a medium peperoni & bacon pizza, to drop off to my friend in Saint-Zotique, QC for a treat for her, on my way home to Montreal.
She said that there was basically no sauce on the pizza but more importantly there was no bacon that I paid for. She ate 2 slices then threw out the rest because it was basically inedible.

I promise you, the BEST pizza you’ll ever eat. I’m from Ottawa and I will drive down each time to get it. Their lasagna, rigatoni and more are fantastic. Sadly, it’s take out only atm but it’s trust me it’s worth it. They don’t cheap out on toppings. Everything is fresh and DELICIOUS.

We drove here from Montreal since we hear they had great pizza. Honestly it’s not that far. Once you factor in that you basically drive an hour or more because of Montreal traffic and its parking situation to get to the local joint, driving to Cornwall doesn’t seem that far.
The restaurant is located very close to the river which is beautiful and you can go for a stroll or rent a kayak to burn off some of the calories.
We had pizza and boy was it loaded! You pretty much need a steak knife to cut into it. There’s almost an inch of pepperoni/sausage/bacon loaded onto the meat lovers pizza. Then they throw a mountain of cheese on top and cook it to perfection.
It’s going to become the spot we will be going to every time we’re craving a good slice. Highly recommended. Loui is a fantastic pizza man.
We decided to eat on the picnic table right outside the restaurant.

We have been ordering riverside pizzas for decades. Tonight was no exception. Sometimes we waited for delivery called and very shortly the pizza arrived; the pizza was always hot and good quality. Tonight it was later than than expected and as usual we called looking for our pizza (20 minutes later than the given time) we called and were treated very curtly and was told it just left. 10 minutes later it showed up burnt and cold. I called no resolution was given. The pizza was returned without payment. We will never order from Riverside until it’s under new proprietorship.

It was our first time trying Riverside today. I ordered the hamburger steak and he had the pizzaghetti. The portions were beyond huge and the food was ok. I didn’t care for the seasonings they used in the beef but that is just my taste. Frozen fries and canned veggies. Gravy was nice though. As for the pizzaghetti it wasn’t a pizzaghetti at all. It was a calzone drenched in meat sauce. He says it was good but they should rename the plate or let the customers know they are not getting pizza. The pea soup was good. Reminded me of Habitant brand. Waitress was friendly enough. The lady at the counter never acknowledged us as we were paying other then to ask if it was debit (too busy talking to the man beside her). Saying hello or asking how we liked it would have been appreciated but hey not everyone has great people skills.
I will go back and try the pizza because it looked and smelled delicious and that’s what everyone was eating. 3 out of 5 stars

Their pizza does not have as much pepperoni as it used to, and I am still upset that you cannot sit down inside anymore to order at a table.

This is the best pizza in Canada, and I’ve eaten pizza in every single province and territory. Cornwall style pizza is similar to Montréal in appearance, but way better. Truly a pizza pie without being deep dish. Excellent quality toppings, especially the local sources pepperoni. The amount of toppings they put on a pizza is second to none. A small pizza can feed 2 to 4, while a large single slice is a meal for many. The XL is absolutely enormous and heavy with cheese and toppings.
