my absolute fav restaurant!!! it’s so good i recommend it to everyone. the food is always steaming hot and fresh. the workers are attentive and kind, and the portion sizes are massive for the price! it literally couldn’t get any better

Had higher expectations based on some of the comments. The food definitely does not “slap” – it’s subpar at best. The lady who took out order was nice and everything didn’t take long to prep. But for us, this was a one and done.

Stay as far away as possible!! I paid $64 dollars for a pu pu for 2 and it was terrible! All the items in a normal pu pu platter had been eliminated. no shrimp, no boneless spare ribs, no pork strips, no egg rolls etc.. Pure garbage at twice the cost as other Chinese restaurant’s! In fact they had chicken nuggets ( yes the same ones you would get at McDonald’s) as part of the pu pu platter. None of this was listed on their menu so one would expect a normal pu pu platter. I love Chines food but this was a joke. Go to Way Toy, North Garden, Chens Garden, Aloha etc and all pu pu platers have twice the food at half the price and feature all the same normal items you would expect! I called to complain and asked for a manager. According to the young lady no manager was available and she had no idea when one would come to work! However she offered me a 10 dollar gift certificate! Why would I want a gift certificate for the worst Chinese food I had ever eaten! This is the first of many reviews I will write regarding this very poor establishment. I tried to speak with the owner and a person did respond however she was very unreasonable and defended not having normal Chinese items in a Chinese pu pu platter. Chicken Mc Nuggets??? give me a break.
My Co workers laughed their Butts off and we all decided to tell as many people as possible how terrible this place is! A waste of 64 dollars. look for more reviews through The Newspaper in the Veterans section, yelp and other papers.
Sincerely
Stan

8 chicken nuggets. $8. Who charges $1 per nugget ?

The fresh rolls were 99% noodles. 1% tiny shrimp. Falling apart in my hands. Sad.

The beef noodle soup was greasy and the meat was tough. Noodles were decent.

The special beef noodle soup was not great. Wonton soup with egg noodle was ok but the wontons were doughy and undercooked.

Chicken leg rice plate seemed ok.

The Pho was sub-par… The soup base was ehhh. It’s probably some pre-made stuff you mix up in the back. I wasn’t impressed at all. Brussel sprouts were all slimy and had gross stuff all over them, they look really old and they were definitely not washed

I thought the place was very good. My photo soup with steak was amazing. My wife got the meatballs which were a little fatty. Other than that the flavors were spot on. Very fresh and the place was clean. I would definitely come back and try other dishes. I would rate of 4.5 if I could. I definitely recommend it.

Food was all mushy and gross. Beef teriyaki was grey and smelled like lemon cleaning products. Chicken wings were hard. Chicken fingers mushy. Rice was hard but at least edible. A city with so many options for Chinese food you should look at other places to dine at. I will not be eating here again!

First and foremost. This is not a Vietnamese restaraunt, this is a Chinese takeaway (the restaraunt name would fool you).

We had found this place on a roadtrip, starving, in desperate need of some food. So in theory, is impossible to have a negative experience. Despite that, this place found a way. All the silverware was plastic and styrofoam, not ideal for a sit down place. We were charged nearly 50 dollars for two bowls of soup and a springroll. The soup was all noodles, salty and flavorless broth with very few poor quality cuts of meat. Everything was just skimpy poor quality food for crazy prices. Thank God we were just passing through

We loved our experience here! The Pho was delicious and made with super fresh ingredients. Despite arriving just before closing time on a rainy day, the staff was welcoming and provided great service. We enjoyed our dinner at the hotel afterward. Highly recommend!

Listen the food slaps, but I’ve got a gripe with the fresh rice paper rolls. Number 1 and number 3, can we put some more effort into wrapping these rolls? Your food is so good, when someone orders the rolls, they should get rolls, not a salad because the rice paper can’t hold up. It falls apart as soon as it is picked up to enjoy. Some rolls are already busting with filling as soon as I open the container. The portion is outstanding but maybe double up on the rice paper so that the roll stays intact. One sheet of rice paper can’t hold the hefty amount of delicious filling. It’s like asking a tooth pick to hold a scoop of ice cream. It’s bound to make a mess.
