I got a cappuccino and an almond pastry. The almond pastry was tasty, the cappuccino was not. I think big foam can be a preference, but it’s more “hip” to steam the milk to a microfoam consistency. Also the espresso shots tasted… mute, monotone… bland.
I don’t know what kind of work the owner has put behind bean selection and barista-type training. But that’s where I mark this coffee shop down.
I love the vibe, the decor was nice and colors where modern. I liked the flower paintings on the men’s bathroom. I think there’s potential here, but check what modern coffee shops and roasters are doing. For high quality coffee. At least that’s my preference. Like 392 cafe of Davenport. Just get their cappuccino and see how it differs.
ALSO kudos for being the ONLY local coffee spot open at 5:00am for people that work at 5:30 or 6:00 am this is so nice!

Locally owned. The most reasonable priced coffee shop on planet earth! Don’t spend your money on overpriced coffee places!! Stop in at Coffee Corner! Call ahead and pick it up! Or come inside and enjoy scones, cinnamon buns or muffins!

Gina is the best! She and her husband are so personable and do an awesome job with this quaint little coffee shop in downtown Washington. The coffee is great! The smoothies are tasty and the service is impeccable!

My family and I love this place! Fantastic drinks. Gina remembered our orders after just a visit or two there (sugar free vanilla latte, hazelnut latte and an americano). As others have said everyone is so friendly. We visit every summer to see family and look forward to going here every morning.

Love this coffee shop! I wish it were open in the afternoon as well, but I always get my caffeine fix from the Coffee Corner on days when I am up early! The owners are wonderful and always so friendly. Can’t go wrong with a hazlenut or caramel latte, along with a fresh cinnamon roll or scone.

I stopped in due to a friendly recommendation. Glad I did. The ambiance grabs you like an Iowa city coffee shop. Only had the chai and a staple of my own but made to perfection. Only word of warning I would have is for any mellow type coffee drinkers this place is small and seems to get loud during peek times. So either chat it up with others (who seem to have that small town join our table and talk vibe) or get those amazing drinks to go!

My husband and I like trying little mom and pop type restaurants when we visit new towns. Cozy, nice environment, wonderful owner. I got the frappe and cinnamon coffee cake while my husband had coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Quite impressed and hope to visit again.

Nice small town cozy vibe. Locals meeting enjoying the company and the coffee. And the coffee was really great! Glad I stopped I was just driving through town and really wanted a good cup of coffee so I Googled and found this place. And in this small town – very early in the morning – the place smelled wonderful and – THERE WAS A LINE!

Show up for a great cup of coffee – stay for the sparkling conversation. The range of choices is impressive, with flavored lattes, cappuccino, frappuccino, espresso, all of the menu here makes for a difficult choice. The strawberry smoothie is a real treat, and I see the youngsters coming in for hot cocoa all the time. The real star here, however, is Gina, the owner/barista. Her smile and humor will jump-start the day
