We frequently visit this restaurant for Cantonese cuisine, and we’re consistently impressed by the quality of their food. They offer an excellent lunch menu with very reasonable prices, and their family dinner set for 10 is a great value. While the dim sum plates are generous in size, they may not quite meet the traditional quality standards. Regardless, we highly recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner. The double lobster special dish is a must-try!

Traditional family style Chinese restraunt. Started off with cashew shrimp with generous amount of candied cashews and shrimp, simply delectable over rice. However the peking duck is the star of this show. Crispy duck skin with tender meat pillowed by a soft bao, topped with fresh veggies with hoisin sauce. Took a friend to try this out for the first time and they loved it.

We’ve been loyal to Jade Garden for years—even through a couple of ownership changes—and our latest visit reminded us why we keep coming back. The new team has leveled up the quality: every dish arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned entrées to the crisp, not-too-greasy egg rolls. Service was just as friendly and attentive as ever; our server checked on us often without hovering and made sure refills landed before we had to ask. It’s great to see familiar warmth paired with noticeably upgraded food—Jade Garden continues to be our go-to spot in Missouri City for dependable, delicious Chinese comfort food.

The food was a let down. The soups were way too salty. The entrees meat were too bland. The fried rice seemed to be regular rice with yellow food coloring added to it. The service was great and the prices are low. But the food quality was a disappointment. The interior is large with plenty of seating. Parking is shared with other businesses in the strip center. I honestly don’t recommend.

Excellent value authentic and good tasting Chinese cuisine. The restaurant dining area is modern and clean. The washrooms leave much to be desired. I hope they are able to complete their repairs soon.

Food here is so mediocre. We ordered the dim sum this morning and the taro puffs tasted sour. My children have warned me before that the foods here are not good; but I kept ordering because they are so close. And service here is really a joke! They had 1 cashier on a Sunday morning with a long line of people waiting to pay. The cashier was going to serve someone that came up to the counter AFTER me. I told them I was there first. Then they told me the foods would be ready in 25 min. It wasn’t ready until 1 hour and 17 min later. I do not recommend this restaurant because you would be wasting your money.

We stopped by Jade Garden for an early dinner around 4:25 PM on our way to the hotel. My wife wanted to try their dim sum, recommended by some posts we came across. The service was a little slow because dim sum service ends at 4:30 PM and only a few tables were occupied at the time.

However, the food itself exceeded our expectations. We ordered six items, and the portion sizes were larger than anticipated. Everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the dim sum.

Not happy with this place. when we came to the table I had to tell the waiter to remove the used plastic table cloth(they are multi layered to remove after each use). Then another waiter came by and placed the paper menu from the floor onto the table. The Hot and Sour soup had no hot flavor. The lunch plates we received had issues, they were not hot, the fried rice was not fried had scrambled egg crumbs with peas & carrots (looked like the frozen type peas & carrots) the mushrooms were shriveled up and did not taste good, the broccoli looked good but tasted soapy, brown Hunan sauce was sweet, the egg rolls were greasy. the fried overall ingredients in the plates were not as described, but either way did not taste good.

I come here once or twice a month for dim sum with the family. The food is outstanding. The stir fried noodles with beef is always a great choice. The eggplant with shrimp has a generous amount of shrimp in each bite.

My favorite dish is the salt and pepper tofu. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It comes with sliced jalapeños and fried garlic.

For four adults and two kids, the total was less than $75.

First time and last. Ordered Curry Seafood Fried Rice! Ha!

WHAT SEA FOOD? I just paid 16.00 for some rice lightly sprinkled with a little curry powder. LITERALLY! Flavorless. No kind of sauce given! This is awful!
