BBQ was ok. To me the BBQ here lacked a good smoky flavor. I am no BBQ expert but the BBQ seemed very tough. The rib meat did not pull clean from the bone.

An interesting place to eat. I was in the area working and decided to try some local BarBeQue. The place had 4 stars and was right by where I was working. The building seems to house three different businesses, it’s decorated in quite a rustic fashion, NOT for those looking for something classy. The young lady that took our order was a little blunt, and not particularly friendly or helpful. However my ribs were delicious and definitely worth the price, DELICIOUS home made potato salad, (at least that’s what I thought). Well presented food and plenty of it for the money.

Three meat plate has lots of food, but brisket is not tender with no smoke flavor. Sausage and hot links are store brand. Green bean are bland. Coleslaw is very thick.

I’ve been twice and I enjoyed it. Last time I had brisket, pulled pork, potatoes salad and curly fries. The brisket was delicious they cube it instead of slices. I am picky on potato salad but their’s was great! I liked the pulled pork but favored the brisket. I was hoping the curly fries would be homemade, they weren’t, but they were freash. Curly fries portion was very small. I will be back.

I ordered a brisket sandwich and some potato chips with pickles and onions well the brisket was not fresh it seemed like it was cooked in a crock pot with liquid smoke. Onions were molded and potato chips were out of date. Never will eat there again. I was very disappointed.

I got the two meat plate. Brisket and sausage with fried okra and potatoe salad. The potatoe salad was very bland and had like it seemed broke egg shells in it? Something very close to that texture. The sausage is obviously store bought with no flavor. The brisket seemed to be boiled or something. No flavor and absolutely Unedible. The okra was okay enough to eat. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Had the chopped brisket sandwich and it was just like the name, chopped cubes with no flavor what so ever. Dad had the sliced brisket sandwich, big slices of tough meat that he couldn’t even chew. Nothing like I expected, have never been to a BBQ place that absolutely had no flavor or juice. Worst place ever! If you want good bbq, hit me up, it will knock your socks off, plain and simple. Won’t be back!

My wife and i love the food there! They provide alot of great food for the right price. I got the brisket & pulled pork sandwich and it was very flavorful without the awesome bbq sauce that you can add as well. Definitely recommend

sent my BF here cuz he was driving thru looking for a good bbq place. Rusty pit was closed so he went to pops. Even after reading the negative reviews i didn’t think it could be all that bad. WRONG! Bf said the brisket was dry and flavorless, he also bought the sausage and said it was like store bought and would probably throw it out. Also bought ribs and said the only thing that made them edible was the sauce…he said even the sauce wasn’t great but it was better than all the meats he bought for about $40 dollars!! So, save yourself a trip and some money and pick somewhere else!

The reviews made me second guess eating here with a lot of mixed opinions about this place but it’s a nice sit down restaurant for a quick bite! Staff is pretty friendly and made sure we felt welcomed. The pulled pork was my favorite! We would definitely stop again next time passing through.

I ordered sliced brisket and sausage, the brisket came out chopped. The brisket had no flavor, the sausage was a cheap brand bought at Walmart or Sam’s. The potato salad was bland and the beans had a weird possibly scorched/burned taste. Was not impressed.
