At a fairly reasonable price, the buffet is loaded with options and selections. The food is almost always hot, and is very good tasting. A couple occasions I’ve had a few issues, which were addressed and resolved incredibly quickly. The staff is always friendly helpful and polite. Almost always, a manager is seen interacting with guests. Quality is above acceptable. Definitely a place I enjoy going, and my son absolutely loves it.

We have become pretty regular customers. It’s about $50 for two people every time we go but I love my steak medium rare and I have yet to be disappointed. They are the only place in town that I have found that will cook a steak the proper way it’s ordered. Their steaks are delicious!! The staff is always friendly. When we went on St. Patrick’s day, the manager was dressed as a leprechaun. That was fun to see. I’ve never had a bad experience. We usually get our steaks to go, so we eat the buffet and get a second meal out of the steaks. It makes the price easier on the wallet.

My husband and I took our two teens recently for dinner. We were absolutely shocked that is was $71 for a family of 4 for just pops & the buffet! We could’ve gone just about anywhere for that price and ordered good food the way we like it prepared. The buffet was editable & clean but overall it was not worth spending such an outrageous amount for bland food. We will not return, even our teen boys were not impressed and thought it was extremely over priced.

Can be good and can be bad. I think it depends on the manager who is working. Sometimes I am so disgusted by the food I vow never to return but the next time the food is perfect. Wait staff is always friendly and competent. Some have been working there for a long time. The weekend breakfast buffet is always good but ends early. So flip a coin and maybe it will be a good buffet day or not. Not to many Ponderosa around anymore.

The buffet was well stocked and the food was hot. Jennifer our waitress was great and she came back often to check on us….. There interior was clean and inviting and the new salad bar is great. Overall great experience. I only give 5 stars if the service and is exceptional.

Staff is friendly. Been there about 60 times always check your bill. They like to over charge. Place is clean and next to hotel. Food is like any other Pondorosa. Like to see a whole new change to the buffet all the food taste like it came out of a can.

The buffet was almost completely empty when we got there and they weren’t overly busy. No silverware anywhere. Lady at the counter had to get us some. Waitress wasn’t very tentative. The Manager was too busy talking to people he knew in the lobby while only one older lady was trying to stock the buffet up by herself. I gave a three star because the new food that came out was all really fresh… Even though we had to wait awhile to eat.

Besides the price being way too high, ( we had B1G1)and it still cost us over $21) foods were not filled , the waitress was very nice but dishes were all piled onto one table ..I mean STACKED…..the food wasn’t that good either. The wings were over fried…too crunchy to even eat….also second time filled was the same, meat loaf was not good and was smeared with catsup, corn was overdone….really ,they need new cooks!

Most of the food was good. The drummies were raw and bleeding. The fried okra was undercooked. But, the service was beyond bad. 25 minutes before we got our drinks. Never saw our server again. Will never visit again.
