Seriously, some of the best food I’ve ever had. And it’s definitely some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had – all across the US. And in Colorado, it is the best barbecue you’re going to find.

It’s like walking into your small town barbecue joint, you feel like family immediately.

Owners are there actively waiting and interacting with everyone. LOVE THIS PLACE!

The parking lot is not to big. There are several shops that share the lot. When you look at the outside of this place, you wouldn’t think that inside is the best brisket I’ve had in a long time. And, they have very good Kraft beers. I travel a lot and I like to find good BBQ wherever I am. This place has excellent brisket.
A other great meal.

If you’re looking for a barbeque spot that checks every single box—flavor, hospitality, drinks, and portions—this place is it. From the moment you walk in, you feel that home-style comfort, the kind of service that makes you feel like family rather than just a guest.

The food? Electric. Every bite has its own rhythm of smoky, savory, and perfectly balanced flavors that just keep you coming back for more. Let’s talk highlights:

The Brisket – Hands down, the star of the show. Juicy, tender, full of flavor, it’s a smack-down on the taste buds. You can enjoy it on its own, or dressed up in their creations.

Grilled Cheese Brisket Sandwich – This isn’t your average grilled cheese. Gooey, melty, and layered with brisket, it’s comfort food turned into a masterpiece.

Meat Platter – For those who can’t decide (and trust me, it’s hard to choose), the platter gives you a little bit of everything. Every cut is seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Philly Brisket – Stop playing! They’ve executed this classic with brisket so flawlessly, it might ruin all other Philly sandwiches for you.

Brisket Tacos – Creative, flavorful, and a whole different way to experience their signature meat.

Large Pretzel & Loaded Options – Perfect bar food that pairs beautifully with their beer selection.

Speaking of drinks, their draft list is stacked with Colorado favorites. You can taste local culture in every pint, and it pairs like a dream with the smoky BBQ.

Bottom line: this spot is not just a meal—it’s an experience. If brisket is your thing (and even if it isn’t yet), you’ll walk out a believer.
Ask for Raquel, she was awesome!

Great, great service. Brian was amazing! It was our first time visiting and he was very attentive and patient. The food was delicious! We tried the brisket, pulled pork, the Bavarian pretzel appetizer and tacos which were all outstanding. All the food items had excellent flavor!

I would recommend this place to friends. The environment was very loud and a bit chaotic due to some large parties and kids running around. It’s a smaller place so it felt crowded, but the food and the service made it well worth the visit.

Not a bad place for a quick bit and to just chill. We enjoyed several dishes, however the Mac and cheese left a lot to be desired. The “BBQ Sunday” on the other hand pretty fun and delicious.

The BJ brisket sandwich is freaking amazing, let’s start there. Brian was crushing it, super top notch service. As a hazy fan the friends with benefits left me wanting, it wasn’t bad by any means but didn’t hit my particular notes. The vanilla cheesecake creamy was really enjoyable, the flavor the body, all of it. As a first timer here I felt right at home and really enjoyed my visit. That brisket though, with the beer cheese and spicy sauce….mmmm chefs kiss! And I dont know the story because I didn’t ask but I love that there is a wood pile inside, maybe on your visit you ask.

A Bit Twisted Brewpub & BBQ was the perfect place to host our teacher staff party, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The space was awesome with tons of tables, plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and games available that made it fun and interactive for our whole group.

The food was incredible, especially the Central Texas style BBQ. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Their craft beers and drinks were a huge hit as well.

What really stood out was the staff. They were genuinely amazing, attentive, and so accommodating while hosting a large group. They made everything feel easy and stress free, which we truly appreciated.

If you are looking for a great spot for a group event, staff party, or just a fun night out with great food and drinks, this place is a must. Highly recommend!

Small, very nice Brew Pub with good barbecue. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious as were the baked beans. Onions, pickles and either hot or sweet sauce come on the side so you can decide whether to use them and how much to use. Portion sizes were reasonable. The menu included other interesting choices.

Service was excellent. It was fast, friendly and attentive. The space is small but attractive with several tables as well as seats at the bar. There are TVs on the walls. The place was very clean. They do have password protected Wi-Fi available on guests.

Parking was readily available on this visit, but may be more difficult at peak times.

Our first time in and Amber was absolutely amazing! So welcoming and helped us around the menu. Their special was Pork Belly Cinnamon Rolls and it MELTED IN YOUR MOUTH!!!!! The baked beans had a delicious smoky flavor and the fries were fresh and crispy. Every single thing we tried was insanely tasty!! I will be coming back and trying everything on the menu! Highly recommend the beans as well!

If you’re looking for good barbecue in Denver, here’s your place! I’ve tried a number of barbecue joints in the city, and this hands down is the best of the bunch! I’m from the south, so needless to say I am picky and know exactly what I’m looking for. A Bit Twisted rivals some of the best spots I’ve eaten at back home! And I mean what goes better with barbecue than beer! They’ve locked that down too! What we had:
Grilled cheese brisket sandwich
Salad with pulled pork
Ribs and smoked potato salad
The Texas bock and the hazy IPA
The cheesecake cream ale and the bananas foster hefeweizen
Nothing disappointed! Service was amazing. It’s like your local Cheers, where everybody knows your name or they make sure to learn it! This will become a regular spot for sure!
