Called with a large to go order for 39 people. The service and organization was some of the best I have seen. The food was delicious and huge portions! Next time we come to Coker we will definitely be back. Wish there were some gluten free options, but otherwise fantastic experience

Start up by saying that I do not know Hartsville at all and I was working and struggling to find a place to eat while driving by. I know the car parking lot was packed. They had an extensive menu with pizza by the slice multiple salads drinks and the service is really quick. I was in and out. My house was huge with tons of fresh mozzarella shredded on top. Definitely be back.

This was our first visit but will not be our last. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant was full of laughing, happy, eating folks setting the warm atmosphere. We both ordered Philly Cheese Steaks, fries and a side salad and had to bring half home. Enough fries for four!!! And the cheesesteaks were just as good for supper. Their menu is extensive and we will be returning to try another dish soon.

It was my first trip to New York by the Slice. I am a sucker for New Yoilrk Style Pizza, especially if it is sold by the Slice like they do in New Jersey and New York. I was impressed by the name and was happy to see a legit pizza ove s and no conveyor belts like the big chains. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza as is my custom. It was not quite what I was expecting. I am not a fan of adding extra cheese before reheating, and the slices looked more like half of a small pizza rather that 1/4 of an 18″ pie as I hoped. Based on all the good reviews, I plan to go back and get a fresh pizza with some toppings and maybe a stromboli.

I recently took my grandmother to eat here. I cannot express how kind and patient the staff was with her. They cut her pizza into smaller pieces for her, made sure she was okay inside while I pulled my car around, and held the door for us as we went out. I was so pleasantly surprised with how AMAZING the staff is!

The food was so good! My 3 year old and 1 year old and I were visiting my parents and ate here and I was impressed by the food and service. My kid spilled 2 drinks (I know) and the owner and staff were so kind and understandable. We’re still eating the leftovers and enjoying it just as much! Seriously good people here

Best pizza we have tasted so far in the Carolina’s area, we tried their meat, cheese and supreme and everything tasted so good, the veggie and meat used were fresh and delicious. Glad we able to spot this place and we tried here already more than 3 times, we also wanted to try their pastas and other dishes in the menu in future visits.

I went outside the box this time and ordered something a friend of mine was telling me was really good. A cheeseburger sub. Another place in town serves this and it is my absolute favorite but their prices have gotten so high. I was skeptical but I ordered it the same way I get the other and it was so good! NY by the slice is such a great and affordable place and you can tell because they are usually pretty busy when we go. Thank you NY by the slice for being one of our constants in town!

Having the privilege and love of the road has brought me to over 40 states. While I crave the bragging rights of a few passport stamps, finding unforgettable eateries has become a welcomed challenge. Moseying on into to NY By The Slice today took me by complete surprise. Whilst majority of authentic Italiano ristorante’s don’t gaggle over their decorative decisions, their food is precise, delicious, well executed and prevalent in mouthwatering authenticity. Of course I ordered a few classic dishes, which include their salad with house creamy Italian dressing. I absolutely inhaled before taking a photo shoot with unfortunately. The dressing was robust, creamy, with a slight citrusy note that complimented the crisp texture of the salad.
Next to dazzle my tastes and dance across my eager palate, was my “pizza by the slice”.
I was wowed by the juiciness of the fresh toppings used on their veggie option. I opted out of the banana & jalapeño peppers, but truly appreciated this slice of pie. The sauce had definitive notes of basil, very pronounced but welcomed aromatics of garlic, and a perfectly executed crust. The pie did not become soggy or wet from the sauce after eating and cooling down. The mozzarella factor on this slice was a cheese pull of epic proportions!
Anddd incoming! Here rests my chicken Marsala take: Pure Amore.
The Marsala sauce was so delicately sweet & symphonic!
Ah, with its distinctive flavors of woody, yet hinted sun dried fruit were encapsulated in the nuance of honey and garlicky appeal. The glorious and extra generous portion of angel hair pasta graced my plate in a most grandiose presentation. The style of this dish was unique with its use of caramelized onions & 3 huge pieces of chicken breast. There was so many happy tastebuds in my mouth today. I absolutely recommend you try! Their bread loaf is house made and was prolific. This place is pure Italian nostalgia, and all less than $15 a plate. I’m already hungry again for more.
I will be back again soon to explore the menu further. What a gem.

Pizza is delicious, and being from NY originally this is about as close as we can get down here! The garlic knots would have been better if they used real garlic instead of garlic powder…though they weren’t totally bad.
