I decided to stop at Mama’s Pizza and Subs on my way from a funeral I attended. I made a decision to dine in. I placed my order. Sat down and the young man at the front brought me the pizza. I got up to get some utensils and the same young man said wait. I got you. He brought me real silverware. This was my first time dining alone. The young man made this a wonderful experience for me. He even opened the door for me when I left in a bit of a hurry due to the snow falling. What a great first experience. The food was great as well as the service. I ordered fried mushrooms. They were great. I don’t like everyone’s fried mushrooms I was invited back and I definitely see myself doing just that. Thanks Mama’s Pizza .

In the category of “local Mom and Pop” joints this place gets 5 stars. Local vibe. Great value. Comforting food. Friendly people. What more could you ask for? We come here often. My favorites are the meatball parmigiana sub, onion rings, and cheeseburgers.

Good, solid lunch restaurant. Decent burgers, grilled chicken, gyros, fries. I also liked the lasagna which came with salad and garlic bread, too much cheese on top but pretty good. Enjoyed the crab cake sub, good flavor. If you order a sandwich that has mayo, realize that they use lots of mayo, let them know your preference. Good, friendly service.

Let me say I loved my chicken souvlaki pita! But, as far as this “restaurant ” goes, you order your own food at front, then seat yourself at a table. Get your own drinks, plastic tableware and paper plates. They do deliver the food to table as it’s ready, which means some get there’s first, but at least it’s hot. My mom’s Ruben came on sub bread, which she knew. It was good she said, but won’t get it again. My husband’s steak and cheese though was tasteless he replied to me, it also didn’t seem to have as much content as other places we have gotten them. All subs come by themselves no fries, no chips, that’s extra. We said maybe we’d give their pizza a try next time, as we asked a regular at a table enjoying one. He said that they’re great ….We shall see.

I ordered a personal size white pizza with fresh tomatoes and spinach and a house salad. I loved the variety of cheeses on the pizza. The fresh tomatoes and spinach were the perfect topping. It was delicious! The salad was quite large and very fresh with a nice variety of vegetables. I am usually disappointed with takeout meals but this was outstanding. One of the freshest and best restaurant salads I have had in a very long while! Thank you Mama’s!!

Ordered take out, first time from this pizza place being new to the area. It won’t be my last that’s for sure. I do prefer the crust a tiny bit crispier, and tiny bit thinner. However, the topping to sauce and crust ratio was not bad. Sauce was not overbearing and the cheese was nicely cooked. The only thing was the big concentrated amount of olives on the pizza and the pepperonis felt like an after thought when I ordered a pepperoni pizza and add a little bit of olives. This isn’t meant to be a bad review, like I said I will definitely be back without hesitation and will gladly be ordering pizza again.

Being a Philadelphia native I have had the privilege of eating some of the most highly regarded cheesesteaks in the world. Gumba’s, Curlys, Pats, Genos to name a few. Traveling for work I stumbled upon this pizza shop somewhere in Virginia. Reading the reviews I decided I would give it a shot. I always cringe when calling it a steak and cheese, the correct Philadelphia pronunciation is a cheesesteak but when in Rome. To my surprise, this cheesesteak was very good. I got a cheesesteak with mushrooms only. The side of onion rings was also good. Is this a five star cheesesteak? Probably not. But the cleanliness of facility and overall quality make it a five star to me

My wife was fresh out of a performance at the Middle School around the corner & had not eaten. So, we decided to stop for a quick slice or something. When I saw the location, I was expecting a quasi-fast food place. And, this place absolutely surprised me!
The ordering process is an “order at the counter & we’ll bring it to you” deal.
However, this was no fast food feel! The young ladies behind the counter were VERY sweet & helpful!
We decided to forget the “split an appetizer” plan we had when we entered & actually do dinner, because of their customer service! We are so glad we did!
My wife got the meat ravioli with a salad & garlic bread, which she said was good! And I had the calzone. It was very good! It was not as spicy and seasoned as I would like, and I would have cooked it a bit longer (just to crisp it up a bit), but it was PACKED with fillings/toppings. The red pepper flakes took care of the spice & we really enjoyed ourselves.
If we are back in the area, we would definitely stop in & eat here again!

Okay i wasnt expected that this place is awesome!! The cheese and bacon topping on fries was put generously. The stormboli is thickly stuffed and seasoned very well.
