We were seated immediately, were greeted, given a rundown of specials and what we may or may not like based on our preferences and were made aware of the drink selections.
The waiter was friendly and engaging and at the same time did not hover and gave us plenty of time by ourselves to talk and dine.
I had one of their spicy sashimi rolls and two Tobiko (roe) nigiri rolls and both were very good. My friend had the Teriyaki Shrimp Hibachi and was very happy with it as well.
The bathroom was spotless and had designer soap and hand lotion for after wash which was nice. We both really enjoyed this place and if we ever went back through will eat here again.
I really wanted to like this place, but the customer service made it nearly impossible. I called to place a takeout order and was put on hold for 10 minutes—only to be hung up on without a word. Tried placing the order online instead, but there was no way to note a serious celiac allergy (a basic accommodation many restaurants offer now).
When I arrived to explain and reorder in person, the hostess was visibly annoyed and dismissive, making the whole process even more uncomfortable. Asked me to put my original takeout order on the floor while I waited.
For a restaurant that seems to pride itself on quality, the lack of care and courtesy for customers with dietary restrictions—and the general attitude—was really disappointing. I hope they improve their communication and service because right now, it’s not a place I can recommend.
we both had the Bento box for lunch. Chicken teriyaki and steak were delicious. Other items on the menu looked good too but a little pricey for lunch. The bento box was a good variety and value with soup or salad, spring roll, California roll, stir fired rice.
