I always saw this stand and a large crowd gathered around the building and never knew what it was, nor was I really curious enough to find out, until today (1/10/26). A friend of mine took me over to try some out, and not only is the bread unbelievably tasty, its real cheap for the amazing quality. This small little bread shop is up there as one of my favorites right along with Angie’s Place. As a customer, if you can lure me in on the first meal I order, I will always keep coming back. They’re going to see a whole lot more of me to the point of probably banning me (said jokingly)

This is a true European Bakery. The croissants and Danish were the flakes I’ve had. The Danish were filed with real fruit not fruit jam! The breads have that beautiful crunchy crust and the French baguette didn’t last the day, gone that quick. Love, love.love.thos place.

Great bakery. Check hours, typically Saturday mornings. Advance online ordering or just walk up. Breads, pasteries, pretzels, etc.

As soon as I’d had my first bite of the ham and cheese croissant, I had major regret that I had not ordered more!
The flake on the croissant is just fantastic and I’m looking forward to the bread and other pastry.
You can order on line as well, but I liked the community experience of standing in line to visit with some of the other locals.

They have the best bread and pastries in at least a 50 mile radius. Absolutely delicious and artfully done bread.

Tried the apple cider and chocolate donut. Both were light, flavorful and if course fresh! Yum

This is an awesome little local bakery that makes drop-dead gorgeous and tasty breads and pastries. I’ve tried almost all the pastries and some bread, and recommend it all! I love the scones, though.
You can order to pick up or you can park and choose from the selection that they have for the day. Everything is walk-up/curbside because they do not have a storefront that you can enter.
If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up! Thanks!

One of Madison County’s hidden gems, this is the place if you want outstanding bread and pastries. We usually get a couple of loaves of rustic sourdough on Saturday mornings. They offer savory pastries as well as typical sweets, which is a nice change. Also, they serve Jittery Joe’s coffee, which (to my knowledge) is the only place here for it.

This bakery makes the most beautiful and delicious bread I’ve ever had the pleasure to consume.
While its location is a bit off the beaten path, it’s a lovely drive and the bread to be had is second to none.
There’s no store front, so your best bet is to drive up on a Saturday when they will have a booth set up out front.
