Had lunch here for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was very good. They have the best salsa I’ve had in awhile. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.

La Mansion is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants! The service is always great, along with the food. I love that there is a patio seating- perfect for nice days and when my kiddos have a bit more energy than we expected. The staff are welcoming and so kind!

Ordered the crispy shrimp tacos. As you can see what it says for this menu item. What was served to me was sautéed shrimp (supposed to be battered fried shrimp) topped with cabbage, cheese and pico. No avocado or sour cream cilantro sauce. When I brought it up to server he said he could charge me for what was missing. Why put an item on the menu if you can’t honor what it says it is. Sent plate back. Won’t be back. Sad for our small town local Mexican restaurant. I’ll travel somewhere else to get Mexican food.

My husband and I stopped by this LA Mansion Mexican Restaurant on our way home. This was the first time we’ve been there and we were VERY impressed! The steak tacos were scrumptious and the queso dip was the best I’ve ever tasted! It had a very colorful and uplifting atmosphere. And the service was great!

I spotted a meal I had to try, “Carnitas al Limon.” It is described on the menu as “Shredded pork grilled with spicy sauce, onion and lime juice. Served with rice, ranchero beans, tortillas and lime wedges.” Doesn’t that sound good? It was a new meal to me and it appears it was a new meal to the cook also. The meal delivered to the table somewhat resembled the description. I pointed out to the waitress that the meal was to have rancho beans, refried beans were on the plate. She went to the kitchen and brought a small bowl of rancho beans. Had I known they were so bad I would have skipped them. The tasteless refried beans were no better. No tortillas. The Carnitas had not been grilled to a crisp outer texture as they should be before serving. There was no grilled onion on the plate. It was just roast pork that had been covered in a mild orange colored sauce. Not Carnitas, but the unseasoned roast pork under the sauce, was very good, tender juicy and there was a lot of it. It seemed obvious that the cook didn’t have a clue how to make Carnitas al Limon. He or she gave it their best try. It is very likely this was the first time this meal had been ordered in the restaurant.

My wife had the Enchiladas Mexicana. One Chicken with green sauce, one cheese with cheese sauce and one beef with red sauce. They were done right. The red and green sauces tasted as if they were freshly made from scratch. The red sauce was real red chili sauce, not tomato sauce. The ground beef in the enchilada was well seasoned. Tasteless refried beans on the side and a dollop of prepackaged factory-made guacamole. If you do eat here, this is your best option.

The salsas were bland, the chips were stale and turning dark from being over heated or reheated too many times.

The food is a mixture of some good and some poorly prepared authentic Mexican food. Service is adequate. And then there is the credit card fee. The receipt stated that I could have saved $1.19 if I would have paid in cash. Thanks for letting me know. I reduced the tip by $1.19. We are square.

If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection “Jalapeno Highway” on Yelp. I’ve probably been there.

We ate there recently with friends and it is great. There have been two or three attempts at Mexican restaurants in this location, but this one lives up to the name. It was super great!
I had the Poblano and Cheese Fajitas and they were outstanding!
I told our friends that they need to try to keep this one in business!

It’s been a hit and miss a few times, but my top pick to eat in this town.Their al pastor tacos are my favorite thing to order here with the hot sauce, also the shrimp chimichaga and chicken taco salad are really good.Jose makes good strong drinks and consistent.

Great food, excellent customer service. Called in my order this time and they had my Chicken Taco Salad ready in 5mins with drive-thru pickup! This is the only place I know of that fills the shell half full of meat or more and the other half with salad (lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onion, cheese, large scoops of guacamole and sour cream).

Food was decent. State of our quesadilla was very questionable (see pics). Our server couldn’t have been more rude; walked away while I was still ordering & threw things down on our table.
