Pizza was delicious! Toppings were plentiful and the flavors really came together so well! Had the vegetable 15 inch and it was a lot of food for two. Crust thickness was medium. Happy to have leftovers.

old school family style pizza shop Everything seems Really original And I love that. They are also very tentative They noticed I Mentioned staying in a hotel And before I could even ask, they gave me paper plates, napkins, and silverware but honestly, the best part is when I got home. The pizza is superb. I’ve been looking for a Chicago style deep dish in the area, and this Is what I found. Definitely a go to spot.

We are local and ordered here at least twice a week, sometimes 3 times a week. We won’t order from them anymore. The portions began to be less and the prices went up. Our orders were always $55 to $65 each time. Do better for your locals.

I love the deep dish pizza even though it takes 45 minutes to bake. Classic Chicago-style deep dish crust. Lots of sauce, although the sauce has a slight bitter taste that grows to dominate your taste palette. Sausage comes in nice big chunks with nice pork flavor. The price is high but not as high as some other Chicago-style pizza places. I had a great time here, and I look forward to coming back again.

Empty lobby but the tables were still dirty while workers stood around talking.
They served me soda out of a dirty cup.
Our server rarely came to check on us, the host and the person taking orders on the phone were more helpful.

I live in Southwest Michigan, but I make sure to stop at Gelsosomo’s for some of their mouthwatering pizza anytime I’m in Northern indiana. It’s worth the trip! I usually get the thin crust meat lovers with extra sauce, but everything on their menu is delicious!

Got into town late after a 13 hour shift and 4 hours on the road. We called 30 minutes plus before they closed, and placed our order. We then got treated to the grown man employee on the phone screaming and throwing a fit for us ordering 2 pizzas and 1 order of breadsticks. We didnt want to impose, the situation was alarming, and god forbid we order pizza from a pizza place… so I asked if it was alright to place an order this close to closing time. A woman got on the phone assuring us it was. So we reluctantly decided to go on with it. Upon arrival I let the woman know we heard everything the man said, apologized for ruining anyones night, thanked her for her time, and tipped well. She looked embarrased, but shouldn’t have. She was lovely. However! The food was gross, and the pizzas were destroyed in the box. Almost like someone shook them. I guess we will never know, but we do know that we will never eat here again. We don’t recommend you do either.

So I just moved into town and was told that Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria was top notch, I had mixed feelings when reading reviews.
I went for it and order a pizza, chips and dip and some cheese bread. Spend about 50$.
Let’s start with the pizza – pizza was good cooked very quickly and came out great. (Pineapple and ham)
The artichoke dip was poor, it was about 10$ and looks like they got the dip out of a jar, warmed it up and put some undercooked bread and chips on the side. (Not worth the cost to me)
Then lastly the cheese bread, 4 pcs for about 10$. The 4$ cheese bread from any grocery store is better than what they served up here.
If I go back, I will sticking with only the pizza.

Ordered a keto pizza to see if it would effect my husband’s blood sugar. First time ordering from here. We are very happy with our order! Surprised to find out the crust is sausage. Definitely diabetic friendly. Small salad is a good size. We will be ordering again.
