I was impressed by this place. I was there as a spectator for a sporting event and had to grab a quick lunch. Their Mac and cheese was amazing. You can order it with any additions you want (I started with sausage). It really hit the spot and brought me back the next day to branch out for more. It wasn’t the standard bar-faire. I liked it, my kids loved it. It’s likely going to be a to-go place from now on. The high chair tables across from the bar are a little weird because the chairs are a different height than the bench, but I wouldn’t let that discourage you from going. They have a great window view of the Flatirons as well!

This was our third time here. The gluten free pizza crust is really good. Their salads are also good. I’ll update when we’ve had the gf pasta. They do seem to take care of details, but they need another server. Which is an unfair criticism because they are not always busy enough to justify it, but too busy to provide top notch service. Mixed drinks are well made and the beer selection is a small selection of the good stuff. The view from the balcony is amazing at sunset. We’ll be back and recommend it to others.

Let me start with the positives. The meatballs are delicious, and apparently they carry Pliny the Elder, which my husband is thrilled with. Beyond that, go somewhere else, especially on a weekend night. The other food offerings are subpar, and this place is severely understaffed (the servers that are there are great, but no one can keep up with twenty tables at once.) You’ll wait 30 min to an hour for food that is always slightly cold, and you may or may not get your drink. Right now they have the corner on one of the only dining/bar options in the new downtown area, but until the new restaurants start opening in the area, go to Louisville.

Have been in the establishment multiple times over the course of the last 8 months. Each time the service has been outstanding, no matter if the place is crazy busy, or during a lighter traffic period.

The food is always good, but the people there are top of the charts! Luke and his crew are worth the trip!

I could go on and on about it but if you have already been there, you know already. If you have never been there, do yourself a favor you will not regret it.

Big fan of the atmosphere — upbeat & unpretentious, sporty crowd. The food was delicious, we were just going for happy hour but fortunately ended up ordering an array of mozz sticks, fries and the shrimp scampi. The cherry on top was the awesome service, great staff!

Ordered a dish that comes with asparagus. They apparently ran out, but instead of telling me and offering a choice of substitutes or change my order they loaded the plate with broccoli and served it. Chicken Picatta doesn’t really go with broccoli. “Sorry, we ran out of spinach (asparagus). It’s been a busy week.” was the explanation I got. This week I asked what the soup of the day is, which the same bartender told me: “I don’t think we have soup, it’s summer.” It’s May, so it’s spring and it’s 40 degrees today. Besides, I’m eating in a hockey rink. It’s cold all year in here. Maybe it shouldn’t be on the menu, or maybe the server doesn’t know the menu. I’m guessing the latter. Good luck if you ask Barney for food.

Brunelleschi’s is a great little bar with the sports fields near by. Food is nicer than you would expect. They have coffee as well which is nice for those early hockey games.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to eat dinner in a locker room? This is your chance! 😉

But seriously, “interesting venue” (hit or miss on smelly hockey dudes drinking and swearing next to your 4 year old) and the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Still, the food (especially the pasta) is quite good, except for the chickenless Chicken Ceasar salad.

I appreciate Brunelleschi’s for opening a local business here in Superior. We’ll be back for some More Pasta Peas someday.
