We stopped at the Baker’s Mark for lunch and ordered the Godfather sandwich on an Italian roll, a pumpkin pie nitro and a cookie. Everything was fresh made, but the godfather sandwich I felt a bit bland. I wish it had a little bit more flavor or seasoning to bring it stand out. Maybe we didn’t order the right sandwich option. Overall, it’s a decent sandwich spot to have in Portland.

Great sandwich spot. One of my fave in town. The Godfather is delicious. I usually place an order online then go pick it up.

Solid sandwiches! Overall, a quality shop.
The Godfather seems like the crowd favorite, but the Avo-Chickpea sandwich is where it’s at imo. Flavorful, fresh, & zesty, it was just really good and I’ll likely come back for it. The Godfather is good, a solid sub for those who are craving a solid sub sandwich.
The Dutch crunch bread/roll is sublime (I think everyone’s in agreement on that) and I’ll probably return for that too !
Great service. It looks nice inside and the tables are pleasant outside!

The Godfather with Spicy Dutch Crunch might just be the best sandwich in the entire world. I have traveled far and wide, searching for a sandwich better than this one, but none even come close. (Little T’s pretzel bread is nice, if that’s still around.) Amazing sauces, flavors, bread is amazing, I have literally nothing bad to say about this place. If you live in SE Portland and you haven’t gone, go immediately. You won’t regret it.

Lovvve this place! They’ve maintained quality since they opened. I’m not sure if the owners still there grinding at 4AM and maybe the sandwiches are a bit smaller, but the quality has always been consistent.
Online/iPad only ordering is a little annoying, but my parents managed to get through it decently well last time (if that’s a good indicator) I was here and in general it makes the inside a lot chiller. Anyways, far and away best sandwich bread and bread in general in Portland. Not a classic east coast style deli but something a little different and better. Also in a massive plus one of the few places that has Dutch crunch bread, but you usually have to get there before 2PM.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches. The Dutch Crunch is perhaps the best bread I’ve eaten in my life. I had the TBLT and my wife had the avocado chickpea – both were A+. Currently my #1 sandwich stop in Portland and beyond!

This is one of my favorite sandwich shop in town. I’ve never had a bad experience here. My go to sandwich is The Godfather. The sandwich is packed off flavor and can be enjoyed anytime of the day. They also have some hot sandwiches. The pastrami is also a solid one.

I found two hairs in my sandwich: one baked into tue actual bread and one in the sandwich itself. I didn’t get a picture of the one in the bread but here is the one in the sandwich. I was eating my sandwich when I noticed a hair on the bread and opened it up and found another one 🙁 I dmed them but no response. This place gets super busy during lunch which I totally understand. But, it was disappointing because I really liked the sandwich. Just did not like finding hair in it

Super yummy Sandos at the Bakers Mark! I ordered the Turkey with cheese and all the toppings and I was more than impressed with my sandwich. All the toppings were good quality and the bread is amazing. Parking is a little hard to find but the quality of the sandwich makes up for that. I cannot wait to come back and try all the other options. You order from a kiosk and you can easily customize your sandwich to your liking. Great place with super friendly staff.

Really great sandwiches. The bread is absolutely delicious and i love the options for vegetarians. They often sell out, so order early!
