Friendly and warm place! We had a lovely family dinner here. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails. Make sure to have the Schnitzel!! They even let us borrow their Scrabble game and we were ever so grateful!! This was our second time and we will definitely make this a go-to spot whenever we are in Govy.

We went to the Glacier House on a busy Saturday evening over the Christmas holiday, and the food and service were amazing. My husband, 12 year old, 9 year old, and I all ordered different meals, and they were all really good. My husband had the mushroom stroganoff with homemade spatzle and it was creamy, warm, and delicious. My kids had burgers that were cooked perfectly and had these thick, crispy fries on the side that were some of my favorites. My son’s burger had pickled jalapeños that looked homemade and were spicy and tasty. My chicken burger was moist and flavorful with a light apple vinaigrette salad on the side that hit the spot. Our service was friendly and fast on a very busy night. All-in-all it was a tasty meal with great service and we will definitely go back!

We were hoping for quick lunch stopover on the trip home, but instead we got super slow service from their 2nd-day-on the job server (35 minutes to get our food). The place is a bit plain inside and they had sleep-inducing 50’s-70’s music playing (weird), but the huge piece of salmon on my gluten-friendly salmon lettuce wrap was moist and tender. It could have used some herbs or spices, but their apple-vinaigrette dressing on the side salad made a perfect accompaniment.

We have been to almost all restaurants in Gov Camp and this was by far the best. Stroganof with homemade spatzle was great. Burgers were great. Chicken sandwich was great. Probably the best French fries any of us have ever had. Kids were sad when we didn’t go back.

Sorry no pics we were starving! The food here exceeded all expectations, and we will be back! Lovely patio seating for us and the dog, and some truly tasty eats! The team was friendly and attentive, too. 10/10, seriously.

Very bad experience. The food came very slow. I asked for hot water and the waitress totally forgot about it. Waited 20 min before the meal came. Ordered potato croquettes, weird taste and no meat at all. The tomato sauce is very sour and does not go with the potato.

Wow! I’m not used to having so many vegan options. That was delicious and such a pleasant surprise. I had the BBQ jack fruit sandwich with an apple vinaigrette which was nummy in it’s own right.
The hubby had the cheeseburger and fries. The fries were delicious and he really liked the aoli sauce on the burger.
Definitely recommend this place.

This was my first visit to The Glacier House and overall it was a good experience! The burgers were juicy and the fries weren’t soggy! The server was nice and attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. I’m regularly up at the mountain and will definitely be stopping by here again.

We both really enjoyed our meals! Black Diamond Burger and the Hood River Grilled Cheese, super satisfying after a long hike. The menu does not state that the sandwich has blue cheese on it, yucky.. thankfully I couldn’t really taste it but if you’re like me and despise it, I’d ask when ordering to be sure.

Hit the spot!! Walked down from our rental on a rainy day and got the Mazama salad with salmon, and margarita and pepperoni pizzas, and the whole family was saying how great everything tasted!! Fast, friendly service too. Thank you!!!
