Took my sister-in-law here for her birthday as she is peruvian and loves Lomo Saltado and Pisco Sours. Both she loved! Ordered the Chilcano and was blown away with this happy hour special. The table side guac was so fun! Followed it up with some of the chicken as well as fried rice. The food was unbelievable but what was even more amazing was the service. As soon as a plate was done being used, it was removed from the table. Water continuously filled and very knwoeledage server! Plus the view was incredible, even with the glass in place. We cannot wait to come back again!

I e been a few times, most recently for a work spread. High performers for me are the chicken and veggie empanadas and yuca fries. I’d love tk return in the summer for the retractable roof. Really pretty space!

Absolutely amazing! The staff was amazing and extremely flexible. We had reservations for a time and needed to adjust it. Cameron was able to accommodate us with no issues at all. Our waiter Chase was phenomenal! They were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided delicious selections for us to choose from. We had the opportunity to watch a flamenco show as we enjoyed our dinner. My partner had the tender brisket & rice. I had the half chicken & Yuka fries with
Chimichurri sauce. Absolutely delicious! Flavorful with every bite. Juicy and cooked to perfection.

Boleo offers a neat rooftop bar, but we missed out on the main draw due to rain. The atmosphere indoors was pleasant enough, but it felt like just another restaurant without the open-air vibe.
The food was decent, but not particularly memorable. The empanadas were definitely the highlight, while the ceviche could have used more seasoning. The remaining dishes were satisfactory, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
Service started off strong, but unfortunately tapered off as the meal progressed. It’s unlikely we’ll return, but Boleo could be a convenient option if you’re already staying at the Kimpton Gray Hotel.

I recently visited Boleo and had a mixed experience
Pan con pancita: The portion size was much smaller than I expected. The taste was good, but I was left wanting more.
Arroz chaufa: It was a bit on the salty side, but still pretty good.
La Vaca: They informed me that they were out of NY Strip Steak and asked if round tip was okay. I agreed, but it was really tough and chewing it made my jaw hurt.
The server was friendly and attentive.
The ambiance was nice, but the music didn’t really fit the vibe and felt a bit out of place

We really enjoyed our dinner here last night! (Located on the top floor of our hotel Kimpton Gray). We had great service and suggestions from the bartender and had a seriously delicious dinner in the dining room. Stylish and cozy with tropical plants dotting the area, it has a lovely atmosphere. Right now is Latin Heritage Month there was an additional menu. I had the corn with cotija cheese, chili and fresh lime-I’m going to have to recreate this at home! I had the fresh seared salmon with lime cilantro rice and mango salsa, and my husband had the grilled octopus. The food is sublime, you must try Boleo

This place is fantastic. A gem of a rooftop bar with amazing food and a wonderful staff. The cocktails are put of this world as well.
We loved the Crviche, the chicken skewers, and the octopus.

As part of the pre-theatre birthday celebration for my girlfriend, we came to Boleo for dinner. As a beautiful rooftop bar with a retractable roof, it makes for a lovely happy hour location. We had a few appetizers and split some empanadas. Yuca fries are always a favorite of mine so I loved the yaquitas. The waitress asked if we were celebrating a birthday and when she found out we were, we got a complementary class of rosè. Capping it all off with a candle in our little dessert cake, we had a wonderful experience at Boleo and would definitely recommend coming here before going to a show in the Loop.

Ambiance: lovely – indoors, but still feels like a city rooftop (just without the bad weather and noise). Music was a little loud while the DJ was present, but went back to a conversation-friendly level once he left.
Food: we tried several items on the menu and everything was well seasoned, perfect temperature, and a good balance of textures. Drinks were reasonably strong and flavorful.
Service: the most friendly and energetic host I’ve met in a long time. He sets a great tone for the restaurant. The wait staff are kind and knowledgeable, but it appears that they fill the dining room with more customers than the staff can manage.
We were seated immediately upon arrival and brought water, but it took another 15 minutes for one of the waiters (who we kept staring at) to tell is that “someone will be with you shortly.” Our food came out relatively quickly after we ordered, save one item (the sliders) that arrived around 35 minutes later (after we’d asked a few times).
A four star review because I’m assuming they were not like this pre-COVID. Everyone is short staffed and much of the world is still closed. But if the wait times are normal, this is a three star review.
