Each time I visit Tallahassee to see family, there’s one place I insist on going—this incredibly delicious Mexican restaurant. It has become a must-visit spot for me, and for good reason.

DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT FROM HERE! I ordered over the phone and the man repeated it back to me completely correct, yet it was still completely wrong when i picked it up. I asked for an order of enchiladas trio with all chicken and only cheese sauce. I also ordered a separate enchiladas trio with all ground beef and the sauce as it comes. I got two orders of the ground beef enchiladas with the sauce as it comes. Yet, I was given an upcharge for cheese sauce that I did not receive. I also asked for 2 orders of rice and beans and an additional order of just beans. They gave me one order of rice and beans, one order of just rice, and one order of just beans. I was missing a completely other order of beans that I did not receive, yet I was charged for. I didn’t notice all of these errors until i got home, and by that time, the restaurant was closed. My order was a total of $65 (including an order of nachos), yet i don’t feel it was worth that price to pay for food i didn’t even receive and had many errors.

Hope ya’ll enjoy my wasted $52. Never going back to this location. Second time they’ve messed up my to go order. My fault for not checking. Didn’t receive one of the meals (street tacos), tortillas for garlic shrimp (shrimp was still grey/inedible), or the birria sauce for the quesabirria. Also ended up with an extra bean and rice that was not ordered. They never pick up the phone. Had to order through the app. Said it’d be ready in 30 minutes. Had to wait an additional 20 minutes when I got there so at that point I was in a hurry to leave and did not check anything.

I would like to update my review from a previous experience. I ordered to-go meals despite the last ordeal. My family and I were hanging around Southwood, so we were extra close to the restaurant. My son went inside to pickup the food 10 minutes after I ordered and it was warm and tasty! I am making the review a 4 and not a 5 because the to-go order mentions the food would be ready in 30 minutes, had I have waited that long, then our food would have definitely been cold. I suggest being in the parking lot already before ordering to-go.

My food tasted good, but it was cold which seemed off since I don’t live far from the restaurant and arrived not long after the food was supposed to be ready. The third meal was supposed to be medium well, but it didn’t appear to be.
Sadly, I don’t think we will be ordering from this location again.

Menu makes the food look great. Prices had increased so the new prices where written in smeared sharpie. I was concerned that the escape doors to the outdoor patio were partially blocked by long tables. FIRE HAZARD anyone? The tables are so close together, the back of your head will touch the back of the head of the person sitting behind you. After moving our table and chairs, we were a little more comfortable. Food turned out good. We will definitely give it another try.

Came here for lunch and some drinks everything was okay The service was extremely slow which was odd because we was only maybe five people in the restaurant. And two groups outside but all in all the food was good we just had to get it to go because it took so long for us to receive it.

The server was so friendly and he was always smiling. Mexican food is Mexican food you know. Standard taste, delicious ✨ $15 per meal that we got. I recommend the restaurant is authentic and clean. No heavy smell inside and all the walls are window, I mean spacious atmosphere in it. Cool✨

Everything was great! I visited around 5:30 on cinco de mayo and waited 30mins to be seated as they informed. Complimentary chips and salsa tastes good. I ordered chicken fajitas $10.99 special price on Thursday. Food tastes delicious, fresh, large portions and server was friendly, helpful and the restaurant was very busy. I enjoyed my dinner and they managed very well with that much crowd. I would recommend this restaurant.
