Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at this restaurant just yesterday. Kept us waiting for over an hour to simply get two main dishes Kadai chicken, Dhal Makhni with Naan, and the food was mediocre. Felt like a complete waste of our money, for the prices of the food and the wait time, the meat dishes are over done with sauce and no actual pieces of chicken. They made some silly excuse for the wait time, it would have been okay if the food was atleast tasty, but that also disappointed us.
The atmosphere needs an upgrade aswell, broken furniture and seats repaired with tape!! I mean if the furniture needs new upholstery please get it done! Dont make your customer sit on uncomfortable tape. The management really needs to look into upgrading there standards and hiring trained staff that can serve the customers better.
Completely disappointed and a waste of our money. Will not recommend anyone to visit unless the management decides to change there way of operating and bring value to the price the customer is paying for.
It was our mistake too, we should have read the recent reviews where many have stated their quality seems to be dropping. Management please look into your service and food standards and bring some changes if you want new customers to come to your restaurant.

I wish I could give Star6 Indian Cuisine a million stars! From the moment I walked in, I felt more welcomed than I ever have at any other restaurant. The entire team is incredibly kind and makes you feel right at home.
Now, let’s talk about the samosas: they are out of this world. I’ve had a lot of samosas in my life, but nothing compares to these—especially when paired with their amazing sweet, spicy, and tangy sauce. It’s the perfect flavor combination.
Even as a takeout order, the quality was impeccable. Hands down the best takeout experience I’ve ever had. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in!

The Missus and I had dinner at the Star 6. It’s in a commercial business complex and has high visibility from No. 6 Road. Parking is limited as there are a number of businesses. We parked on the side street.
The restaurant was relatively clean and we were promptly seated. We found the service to be indifferent as our server did her job stoically. We were not asked for additional beverages besides the water provided. As I had my back to the bar, unbeknownst to me, there were alcoholic drinks available not shown on the menu.
We ordered the chicken biryani, chicken tikka, mix vegetable subji and naan. The entrees were nicely spiced and flavorful. Compared to other Indian restaurants, we found the prices slightly higher and lesser amount of chicken in the meat dishes. However, we may try again if in the area.

I recently visited week ago to the restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the food itself was decent—the service was abysmal and left a lasting negative impression.
Unfortunately google don’t have option to rate 0/5.
Despite being the only customer in the restaurant at the time, the server rarely checked on me. I had to constantly call her over, which was frustrating, given that she had no other tables to attend to. When it came to ordering a drink, I asked for a menu, only to be told they didn’t have one. The only options available were displayed on the counter. I opted for a 2-ounce pour of Black Label, which I have ordered at many places in Vancouver. To my surprise, I was charged double the usual price.
When I questioned the bill at the counter, the server initially handed it to me at the table, but when I paid in cash, she didn’t bring back the change. I had to get up and request it myself. To make matters worse, her attitude during this interaction was disrespectful. She made strange gestures when I asked for clarification, which is entirely unprofessional and not something I would expect in the hospitality industry.
I agree with others who have mentioned that the restaurant’s pricing doesn’t align with the quantity or service provided. While the food shows potential, the poor service overshadowed everything. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements improvements in customer service. It’s disappointing to see such potential go to waste due to a lack of basic hospitality.
I won’t be returning anytime soon and can’t recommend this place until they address these issues.

When looking for a restaurant to eat at, we found this restaurant. We decided to come in a Tuesday evening, and to our surprise no one was inside, not a single person. We wanted to go somewhere else but since it was already so late we had no other choice. Once we started to eat we realized the food was AMAZING!! The flavor profile of the food was amazing, as an Indian this Indian food was great. I highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious dinner with spice and beautiful ambiance.

This a small Indian restaurant with good decor and great service & food. It’s easy to miss as you drive by on No 6 Rd. It is clean and has a good amount of offerings, including many vegetarian options.
The food was fresh and tasted great! They had some of the most delicious naan. We enjoyed the Malai Kofta, Chili Paneer and Manchurian which were all flavourful and authentic. We also had Papdi Chaat, Veg Pakoras and Mango Lasi. The Manchurian is not listed on their menu yet. We also had Aloo Parontha was also delicious and not listed either. Our server Raman did a great job. It was fairly priced at approx. $15 per dish but enough to share. I would highly recommend this place for delicious authentic well priced Indian food, take out or eat in.

We came on a Friday night with not too many people inside. We ordered butter chicken, naan, tandoori fish, and lamb biryani. The flavors were excellent, the butter chicken had exceptional flavor, different from some of the other butter chicken I’ve had. The naan was crispy and fresh and the fish was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent as well. We would definitely come back.

Four stars for delicious Indian food! Our party of four enjoyed everything, especially the melt-in-your-mouth paneer pakoras and the refreshingly flavorful mint chutney. While the samosas were good, the real stars stole the show. Perfect for a casual get-together with friends – highly recommend for a quick and tasty bite!

We Ordered food yesterday,Didn’t like it at all. It was chicken tikka masala, burned chicken few tasteless dry , big chunks of ginger which was horrible, who put big chunks of ginger in rather than chicken . It was horrible and taste awful. Never gonna order from this place ever again. Never go there to waste money and time . Very disappointed with the food.
