Here at Waldo’s, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We are, however, very passionate about great food and great service. Waldo’s is simply all about chicken, and we’re cookin’ it up two delicious ways for you: Southern Fried and Rotisserie. You can also enjoy our chicken in a variety of ways: On the Bone, On the Bun, In a Basket, or In a Bowl. When I want the best OG chicken sandwich with home made fries, and ranch, all cooked with no seed oils in beef tallow.. Waldos is hands down the best! I’ve been to 3 different Waldos locations and the fried chicken has been exceptional at all locations. I love that you can taste that they actually brine and season their chicken unlike some other hyped up chicken places that rhyme with plains. If your picking up what I’m putting down you’ll try Waldos for yourself. Can’t wait for the one in Murfreesboro to open up.

I went at 5:00pm wasn’t too busy. Customer service isn’t much to brag about. Expect the norm with teens and young adults working there. Ordered the OG chicken sandwich. The fries looked questionable and greasy but i sauces them up and they weren’t bad. The sandwich was really good. Ordered cucumber salad and banana pudding and both were great. They also have a drive thru.

Ordered curbside and sat outside for 15 minutes- ended up just sending my husband in and the food had just been sitting around. The food was extremely mediocre. I was genuinely SO excited to try this place too. I could see it maybe being okay eating in, but bleh. Felt like a waste of money, my kids wouldn’t even eat their food.

I’ve had Waldo’s at my friend’s house on multiple occasions, and visited the Belle Meade location. Today was my first time going in person and picking up my own catering order.
First off, the order process could not have been easier. I ordered enough for 20 people with less than 24 hours notice, then, I placed an additional large order once I got to the counter to pick up. They didn’t roll their eyes or act off put at all, they gave me my personal meal and were prepared to wait on me hand and foot.
Then, once that additional order was ready, Zach and Johnathan carried out my order and put it in my car with care and intention. Both of these guys had incredible attitudes and customer service.
I knew I loved Waldo’s before today, but they have made a die hard fan out of me. I catered a real estate class with agents from across TN & FL and everyone is asking me where the closest one is to them!
Use Waldo’s for all of your catering needs and your day to day meals!

Good food. Roasted 1/2 chicken, white beans, coleslaw slaw, cornbread muffin (was kinda small, but very good) lemonade and banana pudding. Yum.

We have been coming to Waldo’s for years and it’s on our weekly rotation! I love that they fry in tallow, the prices, and house made dressings. It’s a place I can take my son and know he will love the food and I can get a delicious salad! We’ve specifically loved the location off liberty pike! The employees are also friendly and efficient.

The food here is definitely and consistently the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The base seasonings are much better than that of Chick-fil-a or Raising Caine’s, and their wide array of sauces enables you to pick a palatable flavor and spice level. The employees here are very nice and hospitable, especially Clara and Destiny(with two “I”s). Me and my brother come here every Sunday and we always have a great time!
