I find the atmosphere so calming and beautiful! The plants and ample natural light feel like a breath of fresh air. They have the cutest gift area to browse while you wait. The staff is so friendly! It’s not the fastest service, so if you are in a hurry you may even consider calling in your order. But it’s at the consequence of a friendly and talkative staff and an often busy coffee shop. It’s always worth the wait because the drinks are delightful and always feature interesting and tasty seasonal options that keep the menu fresh. If you like to support local, this is the place to go!

The atmosphere of this coffee shop is incredibly cozy—warm wood tones paired with an open, spacious layout make it an inviting place to relax or linger. The environment alone sets a great tone for the experience.

The coffee is robust and clearly crafted with care, showing attention to quality and consistency. However, the food offerings don’t quite match the level of the atmosphere and coffee. With some improvement in the food items, this place could deliver a truly exceptional, well-rounded experience.

Workshop is hands down my favorite coffee shop—not just in Missouri, but in the entire U.S. I discovered it during my last week of remote work, and my only regret is finding it too late. Visiting from Miami, I was blown away by how cozy, intentional, and inspiring this space is.

For me, it was the perfect spot to work: full of natural daylight, beautifully detailed in design, and with an atmosphere that felt both homey and uplifting. Even with music playing and families around (often with kids), it never felt loud, chaotic, or overwhelming. Instead, it always felt organic, balanced, and welcoming. Some days I’d drop in for just an hour or two; other days I’d stay from open until close—and it always felt like the right choice.

The coffee is delicious, the menu is small but thoughtfully curated (everything I tried was excellent), and the staff was warm and kind every single day. Beyond the coffee, Workshop is also a community hub: one day I enjoyed live music from a local singer, another day there was a beer garden, another time a farmers market. Each experience added a new layer of charm.

The setting itself is beautiful—overlooking an herb garden and farm, with plenty of outdoor space to sit, work, or let kids play. There’s even a mini store with unique gifts and fresh bouquets from the farm up front, which adds such a thoughtful touch.

Workshop is the kind of place that works for everyone: a quiet work session, a coffee meeting, a family lunch, or just a quick drink. If they rented it for events, I’d book it in a heartbeat. It’s the rare kind of space where everything aligns so seamlessly that inspiration just flows.

Truly perfection. I already miss it and can’t wait to return. Way to go, Workshop family—you’ve created something very special, and I wish you continued growth and success.

My brother and sister-in-law took us for breakfast. What a beautiful space for breakfast! The whole Finley Farms space is a cool vibe that takes you back in time. Our coffee, latte and food were very tasty.

Very good cappuccino and the chocolate croissant is to die for (have it warmed up!) Iced coffees and other foods have not been great tbh. The location is absolutely beautiful, the noise level inside can be quite high when busy, and the service is okay but I do feel like I’m bothering them when I go to order. Maybe because they’re often busy.

I have been to the workshop over five times and it has a wonderful environment for breakfast meetings and the overall aesthetic is incredible.

But I would not say that the coffee is groundbreaking or exceptional. I’ve also tried a few of the different breakfast entrées and was not impressed.

Overall, a pretty cool coffee shop with the atmosphere being the highlight by far, but would not set my expectations very high with the food.

Why can’t all restaurants be like this??
I can’t overstate how important farm-to-table restaurants are. I love simple, organic foods that I feel good about eating and feeding to my family, and this place absolutely delivers. The coffee and food were wonderful, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches—locally grown, locally sourced ingredients and even stainless-steel plates for extra peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend!

This place… WOW!!

The aesthetics (if you like plants/gardens/architecture/history) is over the top. And then there’s the service… Abby greeted us with a smile and gave recommendations that were the best. Avocado toast, chicken salad, and cardamom/honey latte were chosen and were exceptional!! Highly recommend this place!!
