Reviews
The coffee is robust and clearly crafted with care, showing attention to quality and consistency. However, the food offerings don’t quite match the level of the atmosphere and coffee. With some improvement in the food items, this place could deliver a truly exceptional, well-rounded experience.
For me, it was the perfect spot to work: full of natural daylight, beautifully detailed in design, and with an atmosphere that felt both homey and uplifting. Even with music playing and families around (often with kids), it never felt loud, chaotic, or overwhelming. Instead, it always felt organic, balanced, and welcoming. Some days I’d drop in for just an hour or two; other days I’d stay from open until close—and it always felt like the right choice.
The coffee is delicious, the menu is small but thoughtfully curated (everything I tried was excellent), and the staff was warm and kind every single day. Beyond the coffee, Workshop is also a community hub: one day I enjoyed live music from a local singer, another day there was a beer garden, another time a farmers market. Each experience added a new layer of charm.
The setting itself is beautiful—overlooking an herb garden and farm, with plenty of outdoor space to sit, work, or let kids play. There’s even a mini store with unique gifts and fresh bouquets from the farm up front, which adds such a thoughtful touch.
Workshop is the kind of place that works for everyone: a quiet work session, a coffee meeting, a family lunch, or just a quick drink. If they rented it for events, I’d book it in a heartbeat. It’s the rare kind of space where everything aligns so seamlessly that inspiration just flows.
Truly perfection. I already miss it and can’t wait to return. Way to go, Workshop family—you’ve created something very special, and I wish you continued growth and success.
But I would not say that the coffee is groundbreaking or exceptional. I’ve also tried a few of the different breakfast entrées and was not impressed.
Overall, a pretty cool coffee shop with the atmosphere being the highlight by far, but would not set my expectations very high with the food.
I can’t overstate how important farm-to-table restaurants are. I love simple, organic foods that I feel good about eating and feeding to my family, and this place absolutely delivers. The coffee and food were wonderful, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches—locally grown, locally sourced ingredients and even stainless-steel plates for extra peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend!
The aesthetics (if you like plants/gardens/architecture/history) is over the top. And then there’s the service… Abby greeted us with a smile and gave recommendations that were the best. Avocado toast, chicken salad, and cardamom/honey latte were chosen and were exceptional!! Highly recommend this place!!
