What a Gem of a restaurant hidden in Chesterfield! Sandwiches galore and great prices! This family friendly neighborhood sandwich shop is a fantastic place to stop by for a bite to eat. We got a Chicago Dog, Home Fries, and a Ruben! Let me tell you, I’m like the Ruben expert around these parts, and this one was fantastic. The bread was nice and toasted but may have had too much butter on it or the bread wasn’t able to contain all the juices. The flavor was amazing, but definitely wished it was a firmer bread to hold up a little better. (Next time I’ll request what other options they have for bread!) The Chicago had wonderful flavor with a nice punch of heat from the pickled peppers on it. The home fries were fresh and paired perfectly with the entrees. Service was quick, professional, and friendly. I didn’t even have to ask for a refill, they instantly had it ready. Wonderful experience! We will definitely be back again!

Wow I was amazed. Fantastic little sandwich shop that serves great classics and original meals. I had the corned beef on rye with Swiss. Simply amazing. Wife had the chicken cordon blue. I would never have thought to make that a sandwich, but it works perfectly. You need to give this little home in the wall a try.

Great lunch from a fixture restaurant with good, homemade food. French Fries are excellent and sandwiches are “the thing”. My wife and I tried the dinner special, two 1/2 rack rib plates w/ 2 sides. Lots of food, ribs could have been a little more moist, but the Hobo fries were yummy!
If you’re near Central Park and trying to decide on a fast-food place to calm your hunger, why not have homemade for the same price?!?
Check ✔️ out Central Park Deli, you’ll be glad you did!!
Return Visit- Got the “House Made” Pastrami as a Reuben, OMG !!!! The flavorful meat just melted in my mouth , and the French Fries are still excellent!! Already planning another return trip to sample the Roast and Corned Beef . If they are as good as the Pastrami, it will be a luscious trip!

I ordered a pastrami on rye w/American cheese +deli mustard and small fries. Asked if pickles came with it. I was told it comes w/ a pickle spear. The entire time I’m waiting and watching people pay for their meals, I heard exchanges of Thank you and Merry Christmas between the staff and customers. As I kept meeting the eyes of the cook glancing at me I prayed for my meal since I was the only black person in the restaurant and wasn’t treated as cordial as the other patrons. To be honest it made me feel some kind of way! Even when called to pick ip my meal there was no exchange of a Thank you, a merry Christmas nor did I receive a pickle spear. It’s the little things that count for me; Especially if I discern that I was treated differently! My last meal there! RIP CPD

One of the BEST places to go to eat. Everything tastes great ! I have been coming here for years and I love knowing I will get exactly what I order, everything tastes the same after all these years.
Prices are very reasonable for the large portions you receive. They have the best Reuben sandwich and awesome potato salad. Definitely check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

I recently tried an Italian sandwich from Central Park Deli, and it was a highly disappointing experience, primarily due to the poor quality of the meat.
The first issue was the bread. Instead of the fresh, crusty Italian bread one would expect, it was dry and stale, making every bite a struggle. However, the real disappointment lay in the meat. The sandwich featured a mix of salami, ham, and possibly some pepperoni, but the quality was shockingly bad. The meats were bland, rubbery, and had an off-putting texture that made them difficult to chew. It felt like they had been sitting out for far too long, or perhaps were just of very low quality to begin with.
Moreover, the sandwich was poorly constructed. The meat slices were unevenly distributed, with some parts of the sandwich containing almost no meat at all. This lack of balance was frustrating and made the sandwich even less enjoyable.
To make matters worse, the sandwich was devoid of any dressing or seasoning that might have salvaged some flavor. The result was a dry, tasteless, and unappealing meal that I would not recommend to anyone.
In summary, the Italian sandwich from Central Park Deli was a major letdown, especially due to the very bad meat quality. It was a far cry from what an Italian sandwich should be, lacking in flavor, freshness, and overall quality.
