I ordered a drink and sat waiting about 15 minutes. Some other gentleman walked into the store 5 min later than I did and ordered a drink. My name was next in line on the order screen, yet somehow he received his faster than I did. How is that possible? That’s because he was chatty with the barista and she seemed to favor him above everyone else that was patiently waiting in line. Never coming back to this location!

This is the closest Starbucks to my job and everytime I place my mobile order at least 10 minutes in advance before leaving my house I arrive and my order is on order status screen as ready but is never ready hasn’t even started making. Obviously the employees are just avoiding repercussions for delayed timeframe between orders. Very frustrating!

I placed a mobile order for a venti Caramel ribbon crunch with oatmilk. I waited 35 minutes, there was a mess at the pick up area, my name showed as ready but they hadn’t processed my order at all. They didn’t have whipped cream(very usual out of stock) plus they made my frappe with whole milk. This doesn’t look or taste like ribbon crunch frappe at all. Very disappointing.

Was charged for an extra drink, and I had to go back and ask for a refund. I was made to wait longer than necessary for a cake pop. Last time visiting this location.

I typically visit this store once a week, but today I experienced terrible service. The person who took my order didn’t even greet me with a “good morning.” To make matters worse, the family behind me received their order before I did. My Cheese Danish was cold, and my drink lacked flavor. Overall, it was a complete disappointment today.

This is by far the WORST Starbucks! Most of the women baristas have a stink face & attitude. They don’t care about customers whatsoever. It’s the closest one to home so it’s an easy stop BUT to be honest I’ll drive a few more miles to the Tully location. I get that Starbucks gets busy, but if you’re waiting for your coffee THE LEAST they can do is make the drink how it is labeled & correctly! I don’t see if I’m patiently waiting for my drink why my coffee should be made incorrectly. Seriously I rather wait longer and have my drink made good then to it be rushed and be wrong.
Today was the last straw for me though! Watch out with them putting something in your drink that doesn’t belong in there! With COVID19 still being around us and even if it wasn’t this is SICKENING!! Look at pictures to see what was in my drink! Disgusting! And im pretty sure the barista did it on purpose!
Please if you hate your job so much GO find another one and stop being malicious towards customers.

Customer service was good, responsive and courteous. However, the store could use some spiff and span, starting with the dingy interior and dirty restroom (only one available while the other one perpetually closed) and homeless vagrants sleeping and loitering in the store with their junks piling on chairs, etc. (to be fair to Starbucks, it’s in a bind legally based on past transgressions by some of its overzealous staff in Philly Here, there are clear legal grounds to act!). The decibel level inside here was indeed high, but that was due to the unruly patrons throwing trashes everywhere and letting kids sitting on the table (see photo!!!) running around –hence, stars deductions. While the young staff tried their best, the problem is that the store locates smacked in the middle of east SJ (Silicon Ghetto) and, frankly, expectations are low for both employees and patrons. Finally, acute severe labor shortage even before COVID, particularly in the food service sector, exacerbated an erosion of quality training and employee vetting, essentially forcing Starbucks to scrape the bottom of the barrel. The result is you have young inexperienced “managers” overlooking some glaring, atrocious violations of Starbucks world class standards with mediocre performance and horrible environment typical of a Mckeedee Cafe. In short, it’s good for a quick grab and go but go to north or west SJ franchise for a real Starbucks premium cafe experience–i.e. lounge around in a clean, brightly lit decors to study or work on your computer. Look forward to an improved review in the future!

“In all the years I’ve been going to Starbucks, I’ve never had an issue ordering a tall latte in a grande cup just to have a bit of extra room for milk—not extra coffee. Every other location has always been accommodating. However, at the Story Rd location, I was told I’d have to pay for a grande and still receive the amount of espresso in a tall. That was the first time I’ve ever encountered this.”
